Michael Lepre was born and raised in New Jersey. His passion for acting
started in high school after a sport injury ended his football and baseball career.
By chance he walked by the drama class and
saw the students acting like chickens. Immediately he was attracted to
the immense freedom and playfulness on stage. Even though it was midway
through the semester, he was able to talk his way into the class.
After High School he packed his bags and moved to Los Angeles, Ca. to
attend college and to pursue acting and stunt work. Once in L.A. he booked his first acting
job working with Steven Spielberg on E.T. He studied under the great
Stella Adler and character actor Jeff Corey. He lived in LA for 8 years
performing in numerous plays at the Pasadena Playhouse and the famed
Back Alley Theater. He also was working on TV and Film.
Today, he lives in New Jersey acting in the tri-state area. In 2013 he
wrapped up on his first directorial debut, which he also wrote and
acted in called "In Between Black and White". The film was selected
into the Hoboken International Film Festival.
