Opened his business, Frame of Mind Pictures, on the 20th anniversary of the release of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band ("It was 20 years ago today...."), in a studio once occupied by toy legend, A.C. Gilbert.

Won a statewide art contest at the age of 10, by drawing and creating an advertisement for Echo Ridge Day Camp that was published in the newspaper.
Taught himself to read music and play piano at the age of 9.
