Reflecting back on what Arrow has accomplished over the years, it’s very difficult not speaking of Deathstroke when doing so. After all, Manu Bennett’s take on the world’s deadliest mercenary was among those first making the character a household name after decades of being known only to comic book readers and viewers of the Teen Titans animated series.
Strangely enough, Bennett has been altogether absent from Arrow‘s eighth and final season, most likely due to Slade Wilson currently being played by Esai Morales over on DC Universe’s Titans. Still, the Deathstroke persona itself has been permitted to be utilized on The CW – it’s just that other guys have been donning the iconic mask.
So far, we’ve seen Charlie Barnett taking up arms as John Diggle Jr. in the flash forward segments, so it was naturally assumed that he’d be the new Deathstroke...

Dinah gives the inside scoop about her hope for the final season of Arrow and her character's future.
There are only ten episodes left of Arrow, the show that kicked off the Arrowverse and an entire era in the CW Network’s programming, a tall order for tying up the remaining story threads, leaving fans with a satisfying conclusion to the eight-year saga of Oliver Queen and friends, and setting up the highly anticipated Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Arrow season 8 is already filming, making the cast and producers’ last appearance at San Diego Comic-Con seem all the more intense and emotional. The CW released a video of Arrowverse stars saying goodbye to Stephen Amell, and questions about what it’s like to do the show without Emily Bett Rickards and her Felicity are unavoidable.

Arrow has cast Charlie Barnett as the adult version of JJ, Diggle and Lyla's Flashpoint-born son
While it might feel like Arrow is getting ready to say goodbye with its final, 10-episode season starting this fall, there’s still time to say hello to at least one new face. At Comic Con, Arrow’s producers announced that we’re finally going to see JJ, John Diggle’s (David Ramsey) son, in Arrow’s flash-forwards, played by Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll, Tales of the City).
So far, we’ve only met JJ (short for John Jr.) in the present tense where he’s a baby. JJ is a living artifact of the Flashpoint storyline. In the original timeline, Diggle and Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) had a daughter they named Sara, after Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) who was – at the time – deceased. Barry Allen’s (Grant Gustin...

If you’ve been following news pertaining to Arrow since last summer, then you’re aware of how the producers have been holding their cards close to the vest when it comes to this particular series. Furthermore, they’ve withheld certain episode titles for as long as possible – or even changed them at the eleventh hour.
So far, all we’d really known about episode 7×14 was a cryptic hint offered by executive producer and showrunner Beth Schwartz. As it turns out, said offering will be titled “Brothers & Sisters,” which may have something to do with Oliver and Emiko’s relationship. And since it’s pluralized, perhaps we may see that concept applied to the future – maybe with William Clayton and Mia Smoak.
For now, though, an entirely different plot thread is teased by the trailer found at the top of this article, and that’s something having to do with Ricardo Diaz.

If anyone thought their family history was complicated, they got nothing on William Clayton.
Life's already been one challenging Sob for the young teen with his mom getting murdered, and his long lost father returning to his life, only to get sent to jail.
The worst part is that poor William's family drama doesn't ever seem uncomplicated. Just when he thought he had all the answers, a whole new set of questions came around for William on Arrow Season 7 Episode 13.
Before we get to the big future reveal, let's talk about young William for a second because one has to admire the kid's gusto. There will be those who will say William was annoying and bratty on "Star City Slayer," but you got to admit, William hasn't exactly had the most stable parental figures.
Oliver claims he tried to give William a stable and normal life, but has he really?...

Arrow season 7 has introduced a new narrative device for the show in the form of flash-forwards, which take us to the Star City of tomorrow as an older William Clayton, Oliver Queen’s son, and Roy Harper Aka Arsenal investigate what’s happened to their old friends and family.
One of the biggest shocks at this glimpse into the future so far is that Felicity Smoak will apparently meet her end in a grisly fashion. We’ve still got a few weeks to go until we learn the full story behind this, but showrunner Beth Schwartz has promised that the answers will definitely come out.
Arrow returns for its midseason premiere, episode 7×10, this week and episode 16 is apparently where we can expect the mystery of Felicity’s demise to be cleared up. In the meantime, we’ll get a better feel for how much Star City itself has changed, with...

Ben Lewis is joining the cast of the CW’s Arrow for a season-long arc after being introduced in Monday night’s season premiere as the future adult version of William “Will” Clayton, the son of Oliver Queen and the late Samantha Clayton.
The character was initially presented to Arrow viewers as a mystery man seeking Lian Yu, the island in the North China Sea where Queen (Stephen Amell) learned the skills that made him the show’s title hero. The climax of Monday’s episode revealed his surprising heritage during his unexpected encounter with Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) — but that only deepened the mystery since that meeting apparently takes place two decades in the future.
The character of young William Clayton has been portrayed since 2015 by Canadian actor Jack Moore, who recently appeared in the season 7 premiere of Arrow.
Lewis’ previous credits include Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, The Handmaid’s Tale,...
