Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Leilah moved to New Jersey at the age of
twelve. A natural performer, her diverse extracurricular activities
included fencing, soccer, dance, theater, and pretending to be a
television host for her family. Her passion for the performing arts
only grew stronger over the years and led to her decision to attend
Barry University in Miami, Florida to pursue her love of acting.
Leilah graduated top of her class earning a BFA in Theatre Arts and a
double minor in Broadcasting and Public Relations. After graduation,
Leilah moved to NYC and began an internship as a publicity assistant.
Fully immersed in the fast-paced world of entertainment, she organized
press junkets by day and attended red carpet events by night. She
quickly found her niche and decided to follow her dreams full-time.
In 2006, she moved to Los Angeles and has since worked for Showtime,
Cartoon Network Studios and 20th Century Fox Animation.
