HBO's "Game Change" has found its Bristol Palin. After the network cast Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin, "Temple Grandin" actress Melissa Farman is recruited to join the cast to portray the former vice presidential nominee's daughter.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" star Larry Sullivan has also been cast as Sarah Palin's deputy chief of staff Chris Edwards. Meanwhile, Jamey Sheridan has just nabbed the role of John McCain's speechwriter and senior campaign advisor Mark Salter.
Also recently being added to the cast ensemble of the TV movie is Ron Livingston. The actor of HBO's mini series "Band of Brothers" is tapped to portray Mark Wallace, a senior adviser to McCain-Palin 2008. He led the debate-preparation team for Palin, who ended up exceeding expectations in her face-off with Joe Biden.
Previously, Oscar nominee Ed Harris has been tapped to play former presidential candidate John McCain.

I’m a huge Star Trek and VFX geek – probably why I like Michael Bay films. I was so pleased when Star Trek took home the Oscar for makeup at the 82nd Academy Awards earlier this year. As you can see from the picture above, yours truly was at the Academy’s Makeup Symposium on Saturday eve of the Oscars. AMPAS sent out this press release on another special Star Trek event at the Academy earlier today.

Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan is planning to go solo while his bandmates take a break from touring to spend time with their children. The "Shoot the Runner" hitmakers played their final show for 12 months at the V music festival in Essex, England on Sunday, August 22 and were intent on going out with a bang.
Meighan told Britain's News of the World, "It will be good to bow out at V. After tonight we are taking some time off... we are going to have a proper tear-up. V is such a major festival so it's emotional for us. The gigs are great but we've worked so hard. It's the traveling that gets you. You have to look after yourself. We have been to so many countries, you forget where you are. It wears you down."
And Meighan reveals he will be working on independent music projects while his fellow members take...

Kasabian claim they are like The Beatles. Frontman Tom Meighan believes he and his bandmates - Serge Pizzorno, Chris Edwards and Ian Matthews - are like the Fab Four because they have obsessive fans who have different "favourites". He said: "I think I get the eccentric fans because we are like The Beatles. Everyone has a favourite. I'm the cocky, honest, Tasmanian Devil one." As well as being a fan of The Beatles, Tom is a huge admirer of Oasis and insists Liam Gallagher should release a solo album because he can still make "amazing" music without his brother Noel Gallagher. The 29-year-old singer - whose band joined Oasis on their last ever tour before they split in August -...
