- Passionate of arts - traditional first - I've been a self-taught CGI artist since 1993 with Lightwave, then started working with Maya in 1999 on TV series. I like to go and back from traditional illustrations, photography, videos, to computer generated images, editing, compositing, and 3D animations... Generalist, my strengths are however with modeling, digital sculpting, surfacing and lighting, but I like to do my own compositing as well. Whatever the tool, I love creating images using traditional knowledge of colors, light and composition I've studied many years. In 2004 it was time to experience working abroad, so I've moved to Canada, then Asia. I've quickly gained responsibilities becoming CG Supervisor, working on many challenging projects from feature films, Music video, and many TV commercials. My role mostly has always been to manage the team, schedule and estimate a project, train juniors, and being VFX Supervisor on set, but I've never stopped creating assets and images, making Look Dev or preparing Key shots. In 2016 I came back to France, but kept my job as a CG supervisor in the Tv Commercials Department of M2 animation, working from France remotely for Thailand, Denmark, and as well for the USA with another company, 7ATE9, mostly making projects for Disney or Netflix. Many producers consider me as a one-man project, as I can do a lot alone, but I like to create and supervise teams for bigger projects when needed. Since May 2018, I've had the chance to work in one of the best VFX and CG School worldwide, ARTFX, as a CG supervisor and CG teacher. Working with passionate young artists is such a wonderful experience.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Eric Delacour
