After Maid Marian is kidnapped by the Sheriff of Nottingham, Robin Hood must get a band of men together in order to save her. Many are reluctant, given that they are massively outnumbered by the Sheriff’s forces – but those that do join Robin will stop at nothing to defeat the bloodthirsty tyrant. Together, they hatch an audacious plan to penetrate the depths of the Sheriff’s castle and reclaim Robin’s true love.
The first thing that springs to mind, literally, when Robin Hood: The Rebellion starts is do we really need that much on-screen exposition for a film about Robin Hood? After all, we seem to get a new story of this English folklore legend...

Starz released news today about the casting of two more roles for Outlander Season 3.
Gary Young has been tapped to play Mr. Willoughby and Charlie Hiett will join in the role of Captain Thomas Leonard.
A Chinese man with a deep knowledge of Eastern medicine, Mr. Willoughby is a talented poet in exile, with an even deeper love of women.
Willoughby, a confidante of Jamie Fraser, speaks English well, but hides it when it suits him. He is even more of an outsider than Claire in 18th century Scotland.
New Zealand native Gary Young is a graduate of the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in London and Toi Whakaari New Zealand Drama School.
Young most recently appeared in the Netflix feature Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny and the Australian miniseries Secret City.
He also featured in Xena: Warrior Princess, Power Rangers and Jane Campion’s Top of the Lake.
