Sean William Scott as a serial killer. As soon as I read that I knew Bloodline was a movie and role that I never knew I wanted to see but now had to. I was very much looking forward to see if it worked out at all like I hoped it would.
Scott plays Evan, father of a newborn son with his wife Lauren (Mariela Garriga) and we see the stress of a new baby effects both of them in very different ways. Evan has a tendency to kill people and now he has a son to look after and protect. While Lauen is struggling with breast feeding and a very limited amount of sleep,...

As someone who loves slasher movies with every fiber of her being, Bloodline was absolutely 100 percent my jam (as the cool kids would say). Directed by Henry Jacobson, and co-written by Avra Fox-Lerner, Will Honley, and Jacobson, Bloodline follows a well-meaning guidance counselor named Evan (played by the perpetually underrated Seann William Scott), who has a penchant for violence, particularly when it comes to the family ties of his students. And as he and his wife, Lauren (Mariela Garriga), struggle to adjust to becoming parents for the first time, the stress takes its toll, with the counselor taking out his frustrations in some violent and horrific ways.
Bloodline recently celebrated its world premiere at Fantastic Fest 2018, and this writer had the opportunity to speak with both Jacobson and Fox-Lerner about their approach to the script, tapping into Seann William Scott’s darker side, collaborating with both Garriga and co-star Dale Dickey,...

Exclusive: ICM Partners has signed Emma Tammi and Henry Jacobson and their production company Mind Hive, with the move coming ahead of the world premiere of Tammi’s Western horror pic The Wind next week in the Midnight Madness section of the Toronto Film Festival.
Tammi is making her feature directorial debut on The Wind, which is written by Teresa Sutherland. The pic centers on a woman (Caitlin Gerard) who moves to the American frontier with her husband, and an evil presence soon makes itself known, stirring paranoia.
It premieres Monday night in Tiff’s genre sidebar, and ICM Partners and Xzy Films are repping the film on the ground.
Meanwhile, Jacobson, who with Tammi is among the exec producers on The Wind, is prepping to debut his film Bloodline starring Seann William Scott at Fantastic Fest, which kicks off later this month. Jacobson co-wrote the thriller with Avra Fox-Lerner.
