Is a reboot of “The Office” in active development. No. Does that mean that it’s impossible? Also no, according to showrunner Greg Daniels. Collider reported on Wednesday that Daniels is not ruling out a continuation of “The Office,” though the showrunner added that nothing related to the show is in active development.
“No, but it’s not impossible. It’s not impossible for sure. I would want to be involved, and I’ve got two other shows I’m working on right now,” Daniels told Collider.
Daniels served as showrunner for the first four seasons of “The Office” before departing to co-create NBCUniversal’s similarly-beloved “Parks and Recreation.” Daniels resumed showrunner duties for the ninth and final season of “The Office,” which concluded in 2013.

A revival of The Office may not be on the horizon, but a new spin-off could become a reality.
Leslie David Baker has launched a kickstarter to make a series focusing on his character from the NBC hit.
Baker, who played Stanley Hudson on all nine seasons, first teased the Uncle Stan series in a new Instagram video.
In a post alongside the video, Baker wrote:
“It’s True! I’m really back! Uncle Stan coming soon!"
“The Kickstarter (Link In Bio) will be going live at 12pm Pst. Tomorrow, Thursday (July 2nd) is the big day! I’m excited to share this project with you!”

While NBCUniversal continues to hope for a reboot of “The Office” on the upcoming Peacock streaming platform, a new and unexpected continuation of the beloved sitcom is taking shape online. Leslie David Baker, who starred as Stanley Hudson on all nine seasons of “The Office,” has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund a spinoff centered around his character. Baker’s Stanley was a recurring character on the first season of “The Office” before being upped to a series regular for the remaining eight seasons.
Baker’s “Office” spinoff is titled “Uncle Stan: Coming Out of Retirement.” The synopsis for the project reads: “After enjoying his retirement in Florida, carving wood, enjoying the white sand beaches, and dancing to old disco, Uncle Stan (Baker) gets a call from his nephew Lucky in Los Angeles asking for help with his two kids and running his motorcycle/flower shop. With his business failing,...

The Office star Leslie David Baker is coming out of retirement — kind of. Baker, who played the indolent salesperson Stanley Hudson for all nine seasons of the beloved NBC sitcom, has launched a Kickstarter campaign for a The Office spin-off of sorts. The Office star Leslie David Baker is on a mission to bring Stanley Hudson back to life on screen. Sort of. Baker, who played the curmudgeonly Dunder Mifflin salesperson Stanley Hudson for all nine seasons of The Office, launched a Kickstarter campaign for Uncle Stan. He teased the project on Instagram with a video where he sure seems to be in character. At the end of The Office, Stanley retired to Florida, but returned for the premiere of the documentary and Dwight's wedding, as seen in the series finale in 2013. In a post on Instagram, Baker announced Uncle Stan: Coming Out of Retirement. "After several years of enjoying a relatively uneventful retirement lifestyle, Uncle Stan receives an urgent...

"Has it really been ten years?" It's the question that character Stanley Hudson asks at the beginning of the "Scott's Tots" episode of The Office, before erupting into an iconic cackle, but it's also a question that we're asking ourselves today. The answer is: Yes. Somehow, it's been exactly a decade since The Office's arguably most cringeworthy episode aired. While fans of the show adore its intentionally awkward humor, this episode has frequently been cited as the one that has even some die-hard Office fans scrambling to hit "next episode" on their Netflix queue, rivaled only in discomfort by the "Dinner Party"...

Fans of The Office, gather 'round, because I just discovered something that'll make you even happier than Stanley Hudson on Pretzel Day - yes, really. A genius Etsy user is currently selling not one but two The Office-themed Cards Against Humanity decks, and in the wise words of Michael Scott, "Everybody stay calm!"
Both Dundie-worthy decks come equipped with 180 cards - 144 white cards and 36 black cards - with hilarious sayings any honorary Scranton resident would get a kick out of. Below is a sampling of the featured phrases and prompts, so you can get a taste for how on-point they are:
"Kevin's famous chili." "I've got 99 problems and ____ is every single one." "Asking yourself, 'Would an idiot do that?'" "Declaring Bankruptcy!" "Ruining your first impression with your new boss because you decided to wear a tuxedo to work as a joke." "What does Michael hate more than Toby?" "Meredith's casual Friday dress.

The Office may have stopped airing nearly six years ago, but the cast members still have an unbeatable bond. Case in point: Leslie David Baker came out to support Phyllis Smith at The Oa's second season premiere event in Los Angeles, thus blessing us with the Stanley Hudson and Phyllis Vance reunion we've been craving.
Smith, who plays the role of Betty Broderick-Allen in the Netflix drama series, was all smiles while posing with her on- and off-screen pal. There wasn't a grumpy eye roll (Stanley's signature move) or sassy comment (Phyllis's ultimate go-to) in sight while the two hung out on the red carpet. Something tells us that if the NBC show was still airing to this day and their under-the-radar friendship continued to bloom, Stanley would've definitely let Phyllis cut him in line on Pretzel Day, aka his favorite day of the year.

It's a very Dunder Mifflin reunion! The Office alum Phyllis Smith reunited with former co-star Leslie David Baker on Tuesday at the red carpet premiere of Netflix's The Oa Part II. Smith 67, plays Betty Broderick-Allen on the fantasy drama series. The actress had played Phyllis Vance and Baker played her colleague Stanley Hudson on The Office, which aired for nine seasons until 2013. The two had also reunited back in December, along with fellow The Office alumni Jenna Fischer, Ed Helms, Angela Kinsey, Rainn Wilson, Brian Baumgartner, Oscar Nunez, Paul Lieberstein and Creed Bratton. When Anthony Williams‘s collection came down the runway in the “Project Runway All Stars” season finale I knew immediately it was my favorite of the bunch. It did exactly as he intended, marrying the classic elegance of Audrey Hepburn with the dramatic flair and modernity of Rihanna. And the gown that closed out his seven-look collection was the night’s biggest showstopper. The judges agreed, declaring him the grand prize winner of season six. But what about you? Do you think Williams really had the best collection? Scroll down to vote in our poll at the bottom of this post.
I wasn’t sure how it would turn out after Williams received some mixed reviews from the judges. Third time proved to be the charm for Anthony Williams when he won season 6 of “Project Runway All Stars” on April 5. The Atlanta, Georgia native had first competed on season 7 of the main show in 2010, where he placed fifth. He then contended in the first season of “All Stars” in 2012 and placed ninth.
Williams’ win was even more impressive, given that he was going up against two designers — Fabio Costa and Stanley Hudson — who had done much better than him in their previous appearances on this reality competition franchise. Costa had been the runner-up on season 10 of the main show and placed fifth on season four of “All-Stars.” And Hudson had been third on season 11 of “Project Runway.”

Anthony Williams won season six of “Project Runway All Stars” at the end of the finale episode, “Making Fashion History,” on April 5. But how does he compare to the history of “All Stars” winners? Scroll down to vote in our poll at the bottom of this post.
For Williams, the third time was the charm. He originally competed in season seven of the original “Project Runway” series back in 2010. He was eliminated in seventh place, but then brought back after another contestant withdrew from the competition. Ultimately, he ended that season in fifth place. Then he took part in the first ever season of “All Stars” in 2012, but that didn’t go any better for him: he was sent home in ninth place. So he had a lot to prove stepping into the “Runway” workroom for the third time this year. And he certainly proved it, defeating two other finalists...

[Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers from the Season 6 finale of “Project Runway All Stars.”]
Even before the latest winner of “Project Runway All Stars” heard the words “You’re in,” he had already made history. Dubbed the Fantastic 5, the show’s group of finalists all happened to be men of color, a first for the show. The Top 5 designers included Edmond Newton, Stanley Hudson, Fabio Costa, Ken Laurence, and winner Anthony Williams.
Williams spoke to IndieWire about what it meant to be part of the Fantastic 5 in such a public platform:
“Not only does that send a message globally about [gay] men of color… and what we could do and what we can accomplish as we stand together, but I think even vocally and within our own individual communities, it shows people that even today, there is strength in numbers,” said Williams. “Everybody can’t go to the march, but I can lead the march wherever I am. It was the scream heard all the way from Fifth Avenue to our nation’s capital.
Thursday’s Project Runway All Stars finale ended with Anthony Williams being named the winner of Season 6, a moment in which the designer felt nothing but “utter shock.”
“Out of everyone left in the competition, I was the person who never made it that far,” Williams tells TVLine. “To hear them call my name was, like, ‘Wait, is this really happening?’ Winning is something you hope will happen, but the three of us up there were conditioned to not winning. I think any of us would have been shocked.

Last week, in “History in the Making,” Ken Laurence was eliminated before getting a chance to show his collection and compete for the title, leaving Fabio Costa, Stanley Hudson and Anthony Williams in contention to win. That was after the four competitors showed a preview look from their collections to the judges. But since the judges already saw one look, the remaining three had to design more piece, for a total of seven each.

The “Project Runway All Stars” season six finale approaches, and the last designers standing are Fabio Costa, Stanley Hudson and Anthony Williams. But did they all deserve their final slots? Many of our readers have been at war with the judges all season for their controversial calls, and this week is no exception. 81% of “Runway” fans we polled think it was wrong to send home Ken Laurence in the penultimate episode, “History in the Making.” Who should have gone home instead? Scroll down for our complete poll results at the bottom of this post.
According to more than half of our respondents (58%), Costa should have been eliminated from the competition, not Laurence. To qualify for a spot in the finale and an opportunity to show their complete six-piece collection on the runway, the final four had to show the judges a preview of their collection. Both Costa and Laurence received mixed reviews.

Season six of “Project Runway All Stars” has been tough to predict with many surprise eliminations and challenge wins along the way. So it’s true to form that the April 5 season finale episode is also a close call. The finalists are Fabio Costa, Stanley Hudson and Anthony Williams. So who will prevail?
As of this writing Hudson has the advantage with leading odds of 1/1 based on the combined forecasts of the Gold Derby users who have entered their predictions in our predictions center. But that’s not an overwhelming lead. In fact, it means the chances of him winning are about 50/50. After that our users think Costa will finish second (5/6 odds) and Williams will place third (2/3 odds).

“Project Runway All Stars” concludes its sixth season on Thursday, April 5, with a battle between the three final designers: Fabio Costa, Stanley Hudson and Anthony Williams. The final three contestants in season six of “Project Runway All Stars” are pretty evenly matched. Fabio Costa, Stanley Hudson and Anthony Williams all won multiple design challenges over the course of the season. And they all received more high scores than low scores from the judges. But who deserves to win? We polled “Runway” fans, and though it was a close call, Hudson is our readers’ choice to take home the title. Scroll down for our complete results.
Hudson was picked by a leading 42% of respondents, which is impressive given that his journey almost ended in episode two, “Damsels in Distress,” in which he finished in the judges’ bottom two. “Project Runway All Stars” ends its sixth season on Thursday, April 5, with Stanley Hudson among the final three contestants alongside Fabio Costa and Anthony Williams. Hudson previously competed in season 11 of the original “Project Runway” series in 2013, finishing third. But that was an all-teams season, so his stint on “All Stars” this year was his first time competing on his own. Going solo has worked out pretty well for him, though: he won three design challenges over the course of the season, more than any other contestant. So in anticipation of the finale, we asked him to reflect on the season, how he rebounded after a close brush with elimination early on, and what, if anything, he would do differently if he had the chance. Our users have been predicting who will win “Project Runway All Stars” season six since the competition began in January, but there has been no stable consensus about the front-runner, even now with only four designers left. The lead keeps changing hands, and that’s true yet again as we head into the penultimate episode of the season, “History in the Making.” Now Fabio Costa has the advantage.

Edmond Newton finally won his first design challenge on “Project Runway All Stars” season 6 in episode 10, “Rock Your Face Off,” only to be eliminated the very next week in episode 11, “Nina’s Crushing It.” Did he deserve such a cruel twist of fashion fate? There have been unusual design inspirations on “Project Runway” before. Just this season on “All Stars” the contestants have distressed their looks with razors and blowtorches, made ball gowns out of literal balls, and even designed a look for cartoon character Betty Boop. So naturally in episode 11, “Nina’s Crushing It,” it was time for the designers to apply their skills to resort wear inspired by the “Candy Crush Saga” mobile video game. So how did Edmond Newton, Stanley Hudson, Fabio Costa, Ken Laurence and Anthony Williams do on the road to the finale on April 5? The pressure on the final five designers was high enough given the high level of competition this late in the game — all of them had won at least one design challenge up to this point. But this week they also had to impress guest judge Nina Garcia,...

For the first time in “Project Runway” history — including both “All Stars” and the original series — the final five designers are all men: Edmond Newton, Fabio Costa, Anthony Williams, Stanley Hudson and Ken Laurence. That was a statistically improbable outcome given that women outnumbered men nine-to-seven at the start of the season. The only men eliminated were Carlos Casanova and Joshua McKinley. So we asked our readers what they thought of the lopsided victory for the male designers. Did the judges get it right, or did the women deserve better? Scroll down for our complete poll results at the bottom of this post.
Our respondents actually thought the judges did a good job picking the final five. A slight majority (53%) said the remaining designers really are the best of the best. That’s a little surprising given how passionately our readers have disagreed with some eliminations, including Amanda Valentine and Helen Castillo.

Helen Castillo‘s roller-coaster run on “Project Runway All Stars” ended in episode 10, “Rock Your Face Off.” The design challenge that week tasked the contestants with creating a look for an on-stage musical performance, and Castillo was assigned country as her genre. Unfortunately, the judges thought she hit a sour note, so she was drummed out. But not all of our readers agreed with the judges’ decision. Scroll down for our complete poll results at the bottom of this post.
A little more than half of “Runway” fans who responded to our poll (52%) thought Castillo deserved to be sent home for her black sequin dress, which host and judge Alyssa Milano thought looked like a costume out of a Renaissance faire and which Georgina Chapman felt looked “cheap.” But that means the other 48% thought the judges got it wrong. In fact, more than a third of our readers (34%) thought the...

Stanley Hudson barely escaped elimination in episode 10 of “Project Runway All Stars,” “Rock Your Face Off,” but despite that rough design challenge he has leaped ahead in our predictions for who will win season six of the design competition series. Going into episode 11 he’s the new front-runner to win. Do you agree that he’ll take the title?
“Rock Your Face Off” pitted the designers against each other head-to-head to create looks for on-stage musical performances. Hudson had won three previous challenges, so he seemed like he had the advantage when putting together a rock design against Edmond Newton, who hadn’t won any. But the judges thought Newton captured rock glam while Hudson’s look was too conservative and underwhelming. Luckily for Hudson, the judges liked Helen Castillo‘s country design even less, so she was eliminated instead.
Nevertheless, Hudson has moved ahead in our predictions with leading...

“Project Runway All Stars” eliminated Helen Castillo in Thursday night’s episode, “Rock Your Face Off.” That leaves five designers in the competition: Fabio Costa, Stanley Hudson, Ken Laurence, Edmond Newton and Anthony Williams. All five of them are men, which is not only unusual but historic. This is the first time one gender has swept the top five in the history of “Runway” — not just the 6 seasons of “All Stars,” but also the 16 seasons of the original series.
It’s all the more surprising in this season of “All Stars” because the women actually started out with the numbers advantage. There were an even 16 contestants at the start of the competition, but 9 were women while only 7 were men. However, over the course of the last 10 episodes all 9 women were eliminated compared to only 2 men who suffered the same fate. Carlos Casanova was booted in the season premiere, and then...

And then there were none. Helen Castillo was eliminated from “Project Runway All Stars” in sixth place in the episode “Rock Your Face Off,” but maybe she could take some solace from the fact that she was the winner among female designers. She was the last woman standing on the show, and with her gone the top five on the show is exclusively male. Do you think the judges made the right decision by eliminating her from the competition? Scroll down to vote in our poll at the bottom of this post.
Castillo was done in by a rock music challenge, which is ironic since her personal style suggested this would have been right up her alley. Alas, she didn’t get to choose her genre. Season six of “Project Runway All Stars” is nearing the home stretch. The series entered episode 10, “Rock Your Face Off,” with its final six designers: Helen Castillo, Fabio Costa, Stanley Hudson, Ken Laurence, Edmond Newton and Anthony Williams. So who rocked on to the top five, and who had to face the music? Scroll down for our live blog with minute-by-minute updates of all the episode’s developments.
“Rock Your Face Off” challenged the designers to create performance looks fit for a music superstar. So where “Posen on the Red Carpet” last week demanded Oscar-caliber chic, this challenge required edgy Grammy glam. It’s too bad Lady Gaga wasn’t present as a guest judge given her history of wearing famously provocative dresses made of meat and Kermit the Frog dolls — though in that case she might be a better fit for an unconventional materials challenge. Every week we poll “Project Runway All Stars” fans for their predictions for who will be eliminated from the design competition series and this week they can’t agree on who will be sent packing, but they’re pretty sure it will be one of two people: Ken Laurence or Edmond Newton. Both have had mixed results over the course of the previous nine episodes, and with only six designers remaining going into episode 10 they may need to pull out all the stops just to stick around.
As of this writing Laurence is the front-runner for elimination with leading odds of 6/5, which translates to a 45.1% chance of being sent home. He got a low score from the judges in episode nine, “Posen on the Red Carpet,” but it hasn’t been all bad for Laurence this season. He only had one other low score this season, in the season premiere episode.

‘Project Runway All Stars’: Are Anthony Williams, Fabio Costa & Stanley Hudson locks for the finale?
Season six of “Project Runway All Stars” seems to have settled around three consistent favorites: Anthony Williams, Fabio Costa and Stanley Hudson. All three have won multiple design challenges, and all have had only one low score apiece after nine episodes. Does that make them locks for the finale?
Maybe not. In season five only two of the three finalists had won multiple challenges before the last episode: the eventual winner Dom Streater and third-place finisher Ken Laurence, who is back in the running this season. The runner-up that year was Kini Zamora, who had only one challenge victory, though he did get a slew of other high scores during the competition. Zamora out-lasted three designers who had multiple victories: Sam Donovan (fourth place), Emily Payne (fifth place) and Asha Daniels (sixth place).

We’re just a few days removed from the 2018 Academy Awards, but we can’t seem to escape the red carpet. In episode nine of “Project Runway All Stars” the top seven designers were “Posen for the Red Carpet.” To be specific, they were invited into the private studio of fashion designer Zac Posen, where they gathered materials to create glamorous red carpet looks showcasing their signature technique. Posen was also a guest judge, along with actress Rosie Perez, so this was the second challenge in a row, following “Mizrahi Madness” last week, when the designers were both inspired by and judged by a fashion icon. So how did they do?
Stanley Hudson won the last design challenge, so he got his first choice of fabrics from Posen’s luxurious collection. His plan was to showcase his tailoring with a red gown highlighted by a dramatic, voluminous skirt. Anthony Williams...

Early on in season six of “Project Runway All Stars” it looked like Stanley Hudson might be in trouble. In just the second challenge of the season, “Damsels in Distress,” he barely escaped elimination after landing in the judges’ bottom-two. But since then his designs have taken off. In episode eight, “Mizrahi Madness,” he won the challenge to design a colorful party look inspired by judge Isaac Mizrahi‘s work. That was his third victory, which is more than any other contestant this season so far. Is he the new front-runner to win?
Not according to our predictions. We poll “Project Runway” fans every week to let us know who they think will win the competition, who will be eliminated and more. Based on their combined forecasts Hudson has moved up significantly over the weeks, but so far only into third place where he gets 6/1 odds to win the entire competition.

The roller-coaster ride is over for Merline Labissiere. During her eight episodes on “Project Runway All Stars” she had what might have been the most inconsistent run for any contestant on the show. But that ended in “Mizrahi Madness” when the judges threw her off that roller coaster at top speed. She was eliminated in eighth place. Do you think the judges made the right call? Scroll down to vote in our poll at the bottom of this post.
Perhaps Labissiere’s ouster is actually overdue. After “Fashion’s New Superheroes” our readers thought she should have been eliminated instead of Amanda Valentine. Then in “Thrown for a Loop by Betty Boop” she was also our readers’ choice for elimination, but it was Char Glover who was sent packing. After starting with 16 contestants, season 6 of “Project Runway All Stars” was down to 8 going into episode 8, “Mizrahi Madness.” So the stakes were twice as high, and the designers needed to work twice as hard to win the judges’ approval. Who won the design challenge, who was eliminated, and who do you think will win the season when all is said and done? Scroll down for our live, minute-by-minute report of episode eight as it happens.
Isaac Mizrahi is a judge on “All Stars,” but in “Madness” he was also the contestants’ inspiration. The designers had to create colorful party looks inspired by a Mizrahi exhibit, so they not only had to win his approval, they had to try to live up to his work. And joining the panel to evaluate those party designs was another legend of the fashion industry, 86-year-old supermodel Carmen Dell’Orefice.

Anthony Williams is starting to look unstoppable in season six of “Project Runway All Stars.” Based on the combined predictions of the “Runway” fans we poll every week, Williams gets leading odds of 21/20 to win the season. And since consistency is key in this design competition, it gives Williams a crucial leg up that he’s the last contestant remaining who hasn’t received a single low score from the judges.
Going into the most recent episode, “A Kick in the Astro,” Williams hadn’t designed a single look that put him in the judges’ bottom three, and neither had his rivals Joshua McKinley, Fabio Costa or Kimberly Goldson. But that avant garde challenge changed that completely. Goldson was eliminated, while McKinley and Costa joined her among the judges’ least favorite looks. And not only did Williams avoid the judges’ ire, he also got high marks for the challenge. That...

Two weeks after the elimination of Char Glover from “Project Runway All Stars” in the unique, cartoon-inspired challenge “Thrown for a Loop by Betty Boop,” the fashion design spin-off returned with its seventh episode of season six, “A Kick in the Astro.” And if the designers thought their distressed challenge and unconventional-materials challenge were tough, this time around they had to go for broke and unleash their unbridled creativity in an avant garde challenge judged by guest stars RuPaul Charles and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Merline Labissiere has had a number of close calls this season on “Project Runway All Stars” already. She actually won the very first challenge of the season, impressing the judges with her autumn design in the opening team challenge. Then she got a high score in week two, “Damsels in Distress.” But she spent three of the next four weeks in the bottom three, and two of those times she was in the bottom two and just barely avoided elimination. Stanley Hudson had a slow start in “Project Runway All Stars” season six, narrowly avoiding elimination in the second week of competition. Will Helen Castillo be eliminated from “Project Runway All Stars” in episode six? That’s what the “Runway” fans we’ve polled are predicting. This is actually the second week in a row our users have forecast her downfall, but she advanced safely through episode five, “Fashion’s New Superheroes,” despite getting on the judges’ — and her fellow contestants’ — bad side the week before in “Balls Out.” If her luck does run out in tonight’s episode she’ll be the sixth woman in a row to get her walking papers.

Helen Castillo narrowly avoided elimination in episode four of “Project Runway All Stars.” Not only was her unconventional ball gown in “Balls Out” not to the judges’ liking, they also disapproved of how she handled her critiques, disparaging her fellow designers’ methods and style choices. That was the second time in four weeks that Castillo has had one of the lowest scoring looks in a design challenge, so she may have a target on her back going into episode five tonight. Our users think she’s out of second chances and will be eliminated. Do you agree?
Every week we poll “Runway” fans for their predictions, and as of this writing Castillo gets leading odds of 19/10, which translates to a 33.96% chance of elimination. But perhaps she’ll be scared straight by last week’s close call and step up with her next design. That’s what happened to Stanley Hudson.

“Project Runway All Stars” had its first big conflict of season six in episode four, “Balls Out,” when a high-pressure unconventional-materials challenge led designer Helen Castillo to lash out. Most of our readers we surveyed thought that was out of line. Scroll down for our complete poll results at the bottom of this post.

Season six of “Project Runway All Stars” had been a mostly harmonious affair until episode four, “Balls Out,” when the designers had to figure out how to create ball gowns with actual balls in the season’s first unconventional materials challenge. Helen Castillo had one of the lowest scoring designs, but when receiving her critiques from the judges she made comments that seemed to passive-aggressively target her opponents’ looks. That led to an angry confrontation backstage, but was it fair for Castillo to deride her fellow designers or did she cross a line? Vote in our poll at the bottom of this post.
Castillo was throwing shade even while she was working on her design. She made a risky decision to create a new textile for her gown, an ambitious choice given the time constraints, but she felt the extra effort would distinguish her from the rest of the pack.
