Michael Amin is the CEO and founder of Los Angeles-based Primex World Inc. Michael immigrated from Iran when he was seventeen to pursue his university education. First attending Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, Michael then transferred to Cal State Northridge, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business.
Michael has enjoyed a successful career as a businessman and entrepreneur. After earning his Bachelor of Arts, Michael helped his family manage a large Los Angeles apartment complex. Following this, Michael was involved in a number of entrepreneurial pursuits, including assisting in the QuickPix one hour photo chain franchise, as well as launching several start-ups, such as Primex Talking Yellow Pages and Top Attorneys directory.
In 2006, Michael Amin expanded his experience by serving as an Associate Producer on the film, Peaceful Warrior, starring Nick Nolte and Scott Mechlowicz.
Michael serves as the CEO of Primex World Inc., a management company that over-sees a portfolio of assets in agricultural land (pistachio and almonds), real estate and equities.
From 2008 to 2010, Michael was on the Board of Directors for the National Iranian American Council (NIAC), an organization that he continues to support.
Michael is highly involved in charitable organizations in and around Los Angeles. Michael founded The Maximum Difference Foundation, also known as MDF, as a way to better organize his charitable efforts. The MDF supports ten to twenty non-profit organizations each year, or-ganizations that include the ACLU and Amnesty International. Michael and The Maximum Dif-ference Foundation are also interested in inspiring parents to educate themselves on the art and science of good parenting. The Maximum Difference Foundation has funded various informa-tional adverts on media channels in and around Los Angeles as a way to communicate the im-portance of better parenting.
