Tagline: "Breathe. Think. Survive." Wreckage is a thriller from director Marco Ristori (Eaters: Rise of the Dead). Developed from a screenplay by Luca Boni and A.J. Ferrara, this feature is being developed by U.S. and Canadian based production house Double Dutch International. In the film, a man trapped under rubble, in a collapsed building. A terrorist attack has just taken place and Tony (Cam Gigandet) has no memory of the tragic events. Wreckage also stars Emilie de Ravin ("Lost"). And, the film's first concept poster is hosted here. The first poster for Wreckage shows Tony. Trapped in rubble, the graphic also reveals bullet holes. Has Tony been directly targeted? The tagline: "Breathe. Think. Survive" reminds the protagonist to be in the moment. Survival might be impossible in these tight confines. The official synopsis also mentions that the central character has a cellular phone. Similar to other films, Tony has...

Stars: Andrew Harwood, Lucy Drive, Désirée Giorgetti, David White, Eleonora Marianelli | Written by Lorenzo Paviano, Raffaele Picchio | Directed by Luca Boni, Marco Ristori
John (Andrew Harwood) and his wife Kate (Lucy Drive) seem to have it all. They have just moved in to a beautiful house in the Italian countryside (it definitely looks Italian at least.), they are making waves with their photography and painting and to top it off, they are planning for a baby. However, there seems to trouble in their rural paradise and I don’t just mean Kate’s rather dishy, yet invasive friend Corinne (Désirée Giorgetti). You see, there may be something sinister going on in the house potentially involving its previous tenants. Maybe it’s just John and Kate going stir-crazy? Maybe the suspiciously British local priest (David White) has some answers for the couple?
Ok. One thing that really stands out about House of Evil...

Whether you liked it or you hated it, last year's Uwe Boll-produced Zombie Massacre proved to be a success on home video and VOD platforms, which means a sequel is on its way. But that's the bad news.
The good news? The sequel isn't so much a true sequel, but rather another zombie film that's more or less borrowing the title. I guess we can live with that.
Already sold in the Us, Canada and Germany, Zombie Massacre 2: The Fourth Reich will again be produced by Boll and directed by Luca Boni and Marco Ristori.
Check out the plot crunch and first piece of sales art, and look for more soon!

Zombie flicks are a tempting choice for first-time filmmakers; with a little bit of shaky cam action, some basic makeup effects, and actors who can do the bare minimum of looking scared and running, you can make a zombie horror with minimal effort and talent. Maybe that’s what attracted Marco Ristori and Luca Boni to write and direct Zombie Massacre (aka Apocalypse Z), the follow-up to their first and similarly poorly made film Eaters. All their effort wasn’t for naught though, as Zombie Massacre does earn a very noteworthy distinction: it will easily be one of the worst zombie movies you ever force yourself to watch. It’s not the so-bad-it’s-funny kind of film, it’s the painfully awful piece of garbage variety that filmmakers should only show to their closest friends and family and then destroy. There’s nothing of value here.

★☆☆☆☆ Luca Boni and Marco Ristori's abysmal Apocalypse Z (2013) makes recent Brad Pitt blockbuster World War Z (2013), which tried manfully (if impotently) to transpose the walking dead to the mainstream, look like an Oscar-worthy literary adaptation. This slice of Dtv schlock is truly woeful in every way imaginable - and then some. There's really not much of a storyline here, so let's not dwell on it for long. Suffice to say that a group of Neanderthal mercenaries are sent to a remote part of Eastern Europe by the American government, after an accident at a research plant turns the local populace into flesh-eating zombies.
Under the impression that they're there to wipe out the evidence by planting a nuclear bomb, the gang of ex-criminals soon discover that they've been-double crossed by the powers-that-be - and that the zombies are actually the least of their worries. So, let's dissect the evidence...

The cover art for Eaters proclaims that the film is “presented by Uwe Boll.” This information should be more than enough for potential viewers to make up their minds. Mr. Boll did not direct this latest take on the zombie apocalypse, nor did he have much direct involvement with the production. So if the best your Italian zombie film has to trumpet is a tenuous association with the reviled filmmaker of House of the Dead, then you’ve already set the expectation level rather low. It turns out the Boll mention was an adequate, and honest, admonition of the resulting 95 minutes.

Director Uwe Boll’s latest project is the video-game-turned-film, Zombie Massacre. Boll is producing the adaptation which is based on a 1998 first-person shooter game for the Amiga computer. It’s directed by Luca Boni and Marco Ristori who made Eaters. Here’s the story:
A bacteriological weapon – developed by the Us Government to create a super soldier – spreads an epidemic in a quiet little town in the middle od Eastern Europe. All citiziens have been turned into infected zombies. The plan is: to bring an atomic bomb into the nuclear plant of the city to pretend a terrible accident. No one has to know the truth. A commando of mercenaries is hired to do the mission. The battle is on. Hordes of monsters against a bunch of men. Who will survive?
The airport setting is faintly reminiscent of Quarantine 2: Terminal and maybe just a little of Nightmare City, but nowhere near as batshit crazy.

There is no hope! Why do we all hate Uwe Boll when he’s such a hillarious man? I mean, really, let’s give him a break, his latest Zombie Massacre looks quite cool. Except, it’s not all (sorry, man!) about Boll this time, because Marco Ristori and Luca Boni were also in charge. They directed, of course, while Boll served as a producer. About a year ago, we showed you a teaser for Uwe Boll's "Zombie Massacre" film, based on a little known 1998 video game, which was somewhat similar to "Doom." And today, we have a full trailer. Check it out below. Boll is just producing, leaving helming duties to Marco Ristori and Luca Boni, who made a low-budget zombie movie "Eaters" for him. Just like with most of his movies, Boll will make a cameo in "Zombie Massacre" as the President of United States. Plot: A bacteriological weapon - developed by the Us government to create a super soldier - turns all citizens of a quiet little Eastern European town into infected zombies. The town is in quarantine, but the government wants to destroy it to avoid the spread of the infection. To hide the truth, an atomic bomb will be brought into the city's nuclear plant to make it look like a terrible accident.

Zombie Massacre is Uwe Boll's latest film. Boll is a producer on this picture and he also has a screen credit as the American President. Picturing Boll as the President is a true nightmare. Even more nightmarish is this first official trailer for the film. In the clip, a super soldier, produced by the American government, is inadvertently unleashed on a local populace. A team of mercenaries are sent in to restore order. Who will win the day: the undead or these rogue soldiers? I simply just don't understand how Uwe Boll continues to find funding for the films he makes. Who is giving this guy money!? He's one of the worst filmmakers ever. Late to the party on this one, but we'll share it with you in case you missed it, too. It's the teaser for Zombie Massacre , a film Uwe Boll is shepherding for directors Marco Ristori and Luca Boni. This preview was cooked up to excite financiers. You'll find a synopsis, from Boll World Sales, after the video. A bacteriological weapon . developed by the U.S. Government to create a super soldier . spreads an epidemic in a quiet little town in the middle of Eastern Europe, Roznov. Maybe Uwe Boll should just stick to “presenting” movies. Seriously. Filmmakers Marco Ristori & Luca Boni’s upcoming undead zactioner “Zombie Massacre” looks seriously cool, though I may still be a bit dazzled by the copious amounts of slow motion employed by the clip. My advice to you is to ignore the fact that’s it’s produced by Boll Ag and enjoy the show. Don’t punish the directors just because of the picture’s association with the good doctor’s body of work. Don’t be mean. Here’s what the film is all about: A bacteriological weapon – developed by the Us Government to create a super soldier – spreads an epidemic in a quiet little town in the middle of Eastern Europe, Roznov. All citiziens have been turned into infected zombies. The town is in quarantine, but the Government wants to destroy it to avoid the propagation of the epidemic.

Back in September, we showed you a poster for Uwe Boll's "Zombie Massacre" film, based on a little known 1998 video game, which was somewhat similar to "Doom." And today we have a teaser trailer. Check it out below. Boll is just producing, leaving helming duties to Marco Ristori and Luca Boni, who just made a low-budget zombie movie "Eaters" for him. The plan is to take "Zombie Massacre" to Afm in November to acquire distribution. A commando of...

Uwe Boll needs no introduction in our genre, he's pretty much produced one stinker after the other and quite frankly it surprises us why he continues to release these stinkers, but all the power to him! Now that we got that out of the way it's time to check out the brand new teaser trailer for the upcoming zombie flick Zombie Massacre, which is produced by the aforementioned Boll, and directed by Marco Ristori and Luca Boni. Actually, we do know it's heading to Afm because that's where we got this extended synopsis of the flick:

Even though this will be the umpteenth zombie teaser trailer we’ve posted today, once I saw the words “Produced by Uwe Boll” flicker across the screen, I knew I had to include a link to this teaser for Zombie Massacre.
Fans of Boll’s work should recognize his flourishes, even if he’s handed directing reins over to Marco Ristori and Luca Boni. Adaptation of a videogame? Check. Slow motion shots of things that don’t necessarily require slow motion? Check. Awesome action-guitar music? Super check.
That said, the zombie makeup looks pretty cool, and it comes from Italy, home of some of the most gruesome horror films of all time, such as the similarly titled Cannibal Holocaust and obviously titled Zombie. Check it out and judge for yourself:
Zombie Massacre will be unleashed some time in 2012.

Uwe Boll. Two words that conjure up an instant impression, like “Mahatma Gandhi”, or “Mother Theresa”, only a bit different. Uwe Boll has, as a director, foisted on the public some of the most excremental film products known to mankind. I’m delighted to confess that my evidence here is anecdotal rather than first-hand, but consider the following lines of dialogue from some of his offerings:-
Fear is what protects you from the things you don’t believe in.
Rudy: You did all this to become immortal. Why?
Castillo: To live forever!
We finally got to the boat but it wasn’t there.
Guys, check out this book. Looks pretty old, maybe it’ll help us!
Y’all feel me? Aaron Sorkin is rumoured to be not feeling especially threatened. Anyway, Boll’s latest project is as producer only and is yet another in a long line of exceedingly poor video-game adaptations,...

For most movie and video game fans, even mentioning the name Uwe Boll leads to an instant negative reaction, akin to vomiting and rocking back and forth in a fetal position. The German director has become infamous to buying up video game properties, like Bloodrayne and Alone in the Dark, and turning them into nearly unwatchable dreck with few exceptions (I’ll defend Postal if I have to, please don’t let it come to that). And now Boll has added a new video game to his hit list.
Bloody Disgusting reports that he has obtained the rights to Zombie Massacre, a 1998 computer game released for Commodore’s Amgia computer that was a total and complete Doom knock-off. But there is some good news for the few fans of the game who are afraid Boll is going to completely ruin it: he will not be directing. Instead, he’s having...

You'd be hard–pressed to find actual fans of Uwe Boll—the director behind such video game adaptations as House of the Dead, Bloodrayne, and Far–Cry, not to mention many others—and sometimes it would seem that that's just the way the German–born filmmaker prefers it.
Now Boll is getting involved with the living dead, with a new movie called Zombie Massacre. It's based on a 1998 Amiga computer video game (seen here; not sure why all of the "zombies" look like Sammy Hagar) along the same lines as Doom that's also called Gloom 4.
Boll won't be directing the film, however—that job will be handled by Marco Ristori and Luca Boni, the duo behind the Italian horror, Eaters—he'll only be producing this one.

Uwe Boll is headed back into the genre he launched his famous, or rather infamous, career with - adapting video games into films.
Bloody Disgusting reports that the "Alone in the Dark," "Bloodrayne" and "House of the Dead" filmmaker has acquired the film rights to the 1998 Amiga game "Zombie Massacre".
The game itself was essentially a poor man's clone of the then much more impactful and popular "Doom" game franchise.
The relief comes in that Boll isn't directing this time, rather he's producing and is letting "Eaters" duo Marco Ristori and Luca Boni take the helm. A teaser trailer is already reportedly due sometime next month.

No matter how many decent or even good films Uwe Boll churns out, he's always going to elicit ridicule for his part in some of the most abysmal, mind-numbing, insulting, punch-to-the-groin video game to film adaptions of all time. No one is allowed to live down 'House of the Dead,' 'Alone in the Dark,' and 'Bloodrayne.' He very well may have had a hand in the decline of the 'Bloodrayne' video game series. The first two games hit the major consoles at the time and received decent reviews. The series had a lot of things going for it, especially that tawdry vampire lady. Not too long after the second game came out, the first 'Bloodrayne' movie hit, which was followed by a couple of equally as unwatchable if not worse sequels. The video game series? It's a pariah. Never mind a current-generation sequel...

Uwe Boll, perpetrator of such cinematic crimes against gaming as Bloodrayne: The Third Reich and Alone in the Dark has thrown his hat into the video game adaptation ring yet again, this time as a producer. Uwe Boll is still adapting video games for the big screen, actually the direct-to-dvd market. DreadCentral has learned that he's now focused on a little known 1998 video game called "Zombie Massacre," which was somewhat similar to "Doom." Boll has decided not to direct this one, but just produce. Instead, the new movie will be directed by Marco Ristori and Luca Boni, who just made the recent low-budget zombie movie "Eaters" for him. For now, check out a teaser poster for the film. "Zombie Massacre" is a driving/shooting game for up to four players. Fans of 1998's Zombie Massacre video game, I bet you never thought you'd see a film adaptation of what was basically an unoriginal Doom wannabe. Furthermore, it's coming courtesy of none other than Uwe Boll, whose presence this time will be in a producer capacity.
What we have here is a teaser poster for the film, directed by Marco Ristori and Luca Boni (co-directors of Eaters). No word yet on distribution but we're told to expect a teaser trailer sometime in October.
We don't even have a plot crunch yet, so all we really know is that a lot of zombies will be massacred. No word on whether or not this will be a straight-up zombie shooter, or if the team involved are just using a (barely) recognizable title to make a low-budget horror film. Keep it here folks, we'll bring you more information as we get it.

Uwe Boll is back, and now he’s making Zombie Massacre. According to Bloody-Disgusting, Boll has acquired the rights to develop a feature film on the 1988 computer game. Thankfully, Boll will only be producing the film, and Marco Ristori and Luca Boni will be directing. Although, just having Boll’s name attached in any way is a good enough reason for many to cringe. There’s no word if this will be a Dtv film, or if it will get a theatrical run.

There’s something magical in learning to trust again. Since 28 Days Later’s release in 2002 we’ve seen an unholy influx of zombie movies. From high budget to low, from the big to the small screen, they all seemed to be as infectious as some unnamed disease.
As the dead perpetually rise, it’s hard to maintain an unbiased view. What started as a fun, revitalizing trend for the horror genre has become a punch-line in recent years. Eaters, however, has one of the most enticing and interesting mixtures of zombie loving lineage going for it that I’ve seen in a long time. After the Golden Age of Italian zombie flicks started by some guy named Argento, this sub-sub-genre dwindled as British and American directors took on the undead and made as many...

Director: Luca Boni & Marco Ristori. Review: Adam Wing. Is anybody else getting bored of zombies? If there’s one sub-genre that really needs an injection of fresh meat, it’s the zombie horror genre. It’s easy to see why we’re drowning in a sea of undead corpses and rotting flesh - they’re cheap to produce and make lots of money. With Frank Darabont’s The Walking Dead proving a huge hit on both sides of the pond, there’s no escape from the decaying corpse of originality. The Walking Dead is wonderful of course, thanks in large to a great cast and well-written characters. On the big screen however, zombie movies continue to churn out the same blend of gory mayhem, groaning dead guys and disengaging zombie fodder. Uwe Boll, a name that has terrorised the world of quality entertainment since 1991, isn’t opposed to bringing the dead back to life either.

Eaters: Rise Of The Dead

Stars: Alex Lucchesi, Elisa Ferretti, Guglielmo Favilla, Rosella Elmi | Written by Germano Tarricone, Marco Ristori | Directed by Luca Boni, Marco Ristori
To feel sceptical about a film presented by cult writer Uwe Boll feels almost universal. I’m in the same boat as a magnitude of others, right? It’s dampened further with a film titled Eaters: Rise of the Dead. Another addition to the post-apocalyptic zombie features that are churned onto DVD weekly, with most failing to strike an original spark and flailing incoherently into something that merely glorifies sanguinary carnage.
The world has become ravaged by zombies, again. But this time we’re in Italy, with the female population falling not only infected first, but being deemed infertile. Our story, however, follows two zombie hunters, Alen and Igor, under the jurisdiction of scientist Gyno,...

The end of the world: Italy. First the women died, then nearly everyone else died - and then, they began to come back...
You know the scene. The dead walk, the survivors are few, and to make things worse, they're all male. In an obscure corner of Italy, zombie hunters Igor (Alex Lucchesi) and Alen (Guglielmo Favilla) provide undead test subjects for the experiments of the rather twitchy research scientist Gyno (Claudio Marmugi). Gyno's main lab-rat, however, is Alen's girlfriend Alexis (Rosella Elmi), the only female not to have been entirely 'zombified' during the Great Epidemic - and perhaps the only chance of a cure and potential future for mankind.
Trouble lies ahead when the guys discover a healthy living girl who may provide part of the answer as to how the apocalypse came to be - and what exactly the mysterious Gyno is really up to back in the lab.

Midgets. Nazis. Zombies. Yes, Eaters carries all of the trappings of an Uwe Boll flick, but the man who brought us House of the Dead , amongst other "classics," merely slapped his name on this Italian production as a "presenter." Marco Ristori and Luca Boni directed the film which is set in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. Three men - Igor and Alen, two hunters of dead and a scientist, Gyno - try to give an answer to what has happened to the human race. Alen and Igor leave for two days of hunting to find new "guinea-pigs" for Gyno and meet the most varied characters: a crazy painter, neo-Nazis and a mysterious girl, daughter of the feared Plague-Spreader, supposed craftsman of the epidemic... Take a peek at the trailer.

New trailer!
We've been tracking the Italian zombie movie Eaters since February, but there hasn't been much to report until now, as a new trailer has been released. With Uwe Boll "presenting" the movie, could writer/director/producer Marco Ristori and cinematographer Luca Boni restore the Italian zombie movie legacy? Find out for yourself below:
>Synopsis: After being devastated by a deadly epidemic, the world is now governed by hordes of living dead. Locked in a fortress that has been turned into a research center and shelter, three men - zombie hunters Igor and Alen and a scientist named Gyno - are trying to find an answer to what has happened to the human race.
Now all we need is a release date. None so far, but stay tuned!
