Tagline: "Breathe. Think. Survive." Wreckage is a thriller from director Marco Ristori (Eaters: Rise of the Dead). Developed from a screenplay by Luca Boni and A.J. Ferrara, this feature is being developed by U.S. and Canadian based production house Double Dutch International. In the film, a man trapped under rubble, in a collapsed building. A terrorist attack has just taken place and Tony (Cam Gigandet) has no memory of the tragic events. Wreckage also stars Emilie de Ravin ("Lost"). And, the film's first concept poster is hosted here. The first poster for Wreckage shows Tony. Trapped in rubble, the graphic also reveals bullet holes. Has Tony been directly targeted? The tagline: "Breathe. Think. Survive" reminds the protagonist to be in the moment. Survival might be impossible in these tight confines. The official synopsis also mentions that the central character has a cellular phone. Similar to other films, Tony has...

Stars: Andrew Harwood, Lucy Drive, Désirée Giorgetti, David White, Eleonora Marianelli | Written by Lorenzo Paviano, Raffaele Picchio | Directed by Luca Boni, Marco Ristori
John (Andrew Harwood) and his wife Kate (Lucy Drive) seem to have it all. They have just moved in to a beautiful house in the Italian countryside (it definitely looks Italian at least.), they are making waves with their photography and painting and to top it off, they are planning for a baby. However, there seems to trouble in their rural paradise and I don’t just mean Kate’s rather dishy, yet invasive friend Corinne (Désirée Giorgetti). You see, there may be something sinister going on in the house potentially involving its previous tenants. Maybe it’s just John and Kate going stir-crazy? Maybe the suspiciously British local priest (David White) has some answers for the couple?
Ok. One thing that really stands out about House of Evil...

Whether you liked it or you hated it, last year's Uwe Boll-produced Zombie Massacre proved to be a success on home video and VOD platforms, which means a sequel is on its way. But that's the bad news.
The good news? The sequel isn't so much a true sequel, but rather another zombie film that's more or less borrowing the title. I guess we can live with that.
Already sold in the Us, Canada and Germany, Zombie Massacre 2: The Fourth Reich will again be produced by Boll and directed by Luca Boni and Marco Ristori.
Check out the plot crunch and first piece of sales art, and look for more soon!

Zombie flicks are a tempting choice for first-time filmmakers; with a little bit of shaky cam action, some basic makeup effects, and actors who can do the bare minimum of looking scared and running, you can make a zombie horror with minimal effort and talent. Maybe that’s what attracted Marco Ristori and Luca Boni to write and direct Zombie Massacre (aka Apocalypse Z), the follow-up to their first and similarly poorly made film Eaters. All their effort wasn’t for naught though, as Zombie Massacre does earn a very noteworthy distinction: it will easily be one of the worst zombie movies you ever force yourself to watch. It’s not the so-bad-it’s-funny kind of film, it’s the painfully awful piece of garbage variety that filmmakers should only show to their closest friends and family and then destroy. There’s nothing of value here.

Midgets. Nazis. Zombies. Yes, Eaters carries all of the trappings of an Uwe Boll flick, but the man who brought us House of the Dead , amongst other "classics," merely slapped his name on this Italian production as a "presenter." Marco Ristori and Luca Boni directed the film which is set in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. Three men - Igor and Alen, two hunters of dead and a scientist, Gyno - try to give an answer to what has happened to the human race. Alen and Igor leave for two days of hunting to find new "guinea-pigs" for Gyno and meet the most varied characters: a crazy painter, neo-Nazis and a mysterious girl, daughter of the feared Plague-Spreader, supposed craftsman of the epidemic... Take a peek at the trailer.

New trailer!
We've been tracking the Italian zombie movie Eaters since February, but there hasn't been much to report until now, as a new trailer has been released. With Uwe Boll "presenting" the movie, could writer/director/producer Marco Ristori and cinematographer Luca Boni restore the Italian zombie movie legacy? Find out for yourself below:
>Synopsis: After being devastated by a deadly epidemic, the world is now governed by hordes of living dead. Locked in a fortress that has been turned into a research center and shelter, three men - zombie hunters Igor and Alen and a scientist named Gyno - are trying to find an answer to what has happened to the human race.
Now all we need is a release date. None so far, but stay tuned!

Don’t let the “Uwe Boll Presents” graphic throw you off — Marco Ristori and Luca Boni’s upcoming Italian zombie epic “Eaters” looks seriously badass. And when I say seriously badass, I mean Seriously badass. It certainly looks a lot more entertaining than the limp-wristed living dead snoozers George Romero has been dumping on the masses as of late, though, to be perfectly honest, that really isn’t saying too much. But, I digress. The embedded trailer is definitely an adrenaline rush, and should provide zombie junkies with more than enough splatter to satisfy those unnatural urges that keep you up into the wee hours of the morning. Needless to say, I’m overly excited about the project. Here’s what it’s all about: After being devastated by a deadly epidemic, the world is now governed by hordes of living dead. A brand new zombie film, Eaters, is creeping out from the fabled undead factory that is Italy, and we have the trailer for you to view.
Eaters is most definitely post-apocalyptic, and is set well after the dead have risen and slaughtered the great majority of our fat and comfortable civilization. It follows a small surviving group of men and women, who are not only trying to avoid being eaten, but who also endeavor to discover the cause of the zombie horde menace.
Don't let the drop of Uwe Boll's name at the beginning fool you - the trailer actually looks pretty good. Eaters is directed by Marco Ristori and Luca Boni, and it appears Boll is mainly attached as a promotional tool. The trailer looks gritty and mean, and certainly looks rotting head and shoulders better than the travesty of the recent Survival of the Dead.

Italian horror luminaries Lucio Fulci and Bruno Mattei left quite the legacy of low-budget, badly planned zombie movies loved by many, and writer/director/producer Marco Ristori and cinematographer Luca Boni look like the could restore that legacy and bring it back to Italy. The two directors have created Eaters, which follows three human survivors (zombie hunters Igor and Alen and a scientist named Gyno) in the wake of a zombie apocalypse that has put zombies in charge of the world. The three men attempt to discover what happened to humanity. Ristori explains more:
Gyno experiments his insane theories on the bodies of the zombies given to him by the other two men. He tells the two men that he is looking for a treatment for the virus in order to save Alexis, Alen's girlfriend, a healthy carrier of the virus, but actually he is trying in any way to...

David Bracci, Filippo Corradin, Paco Ferrari, Ristori and Boni wear the producer hats here while Alex Lucchesi and Guglielmo Favilla star as two survivors trekking across a post-apocalyptic land riddled with zombies.
