Trained in Animation and Television Science at the Utrecht School of Arts, the Netherlands, Alexander graduated with the very first 3-D Stereoscopic Stop-Motion/CGI animation short in film history, 'The Incredible Invasion of the 20,000 Giant Robots from Outer Space', which has played at all major 3-D film and animation festivals around the world. HE has moved from the Netherlands to the UK in 2001 and then from the UK to Ireland in 2017.
Alexander is an animation producer, line-producer, supervisor and consultant, specialized in animated 3D CGI, 3D Stereoscopic, 4D ride-film, AI production methods, feature film and television production. He is a trained animator who has worked in all animation studio positions throughout his career since 1999. He has found his sweet spot in the convergence of technical and creative animation processes, between the producers and the creatives on the studio floor, between the conceptual ideas of the West and the practical outsourcing studios of the East.
It has been Alexander's professional aim for over 20 years, to better integrate artistic vision with animation production technology and to enable artists to execute their ideas in animation a lot more smoothly and uncompromisingly than is currently possible or affordable on tight animation budgets. Alexander works globally as an independent animation producer, line-producer, supervisor and consultant, specialized in 3D Stereoscopic and 4D special and feature film, television and digital media.
Alexander speaks four languages - Dutch, English, German and French.
Alexander is currently (2021) living in Dublin, Ireland, with his wife and two children.
