Selma Blair is changing up her team.
The actress has parted ways with her agents at CAA as well as her publicity team at Narrative, sources confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. It also appears that she’s made changes to her management and legal reps as well. For years, Blair has been represented by manager Troy Nankin at Wishlab as well as attorney Cheryl Snow at Gang, Tyre, Ramer, Brown & Passman.
It appears someone swapped out those names on Blair’s rep card on IMDbPro on Thursday with the names Ben Gaynor (also a manager at Wishlab) as her new manager and attorney Joshua Reitzas at Berlandi Nussbaum & Reitzas, though none of the names on that list were available for comment in the evening when THR reached out. Blair also did not return a request for comment, but it is understood that she made the decision to clean house.

Lashana Lynch has found the optimal next role. The actor is attached to star in Optimize, a sci-fi feature from filmmaker Lindsey Anderson Beer.
Paramount is making the project with Beer’s Lab Brew banner as part of the filmmaker’s first-look deal with the studio. According to the logline, Optimize centers on an “average woman” who “utilizes an AI assistant to optimize all facets of her life, but soon finds that the AI’s pursuit of perfection comes at too high a cost.”
Before she was the director of projects such as Pet Sematary: Bloodlines and the screenwriter behind features such as Chaos Walking, Anderson Beer attended Stanford, where she studied artificial intelligence and robotics. That experience came in handy in crafting Optimize, first as a short story and now as a feature.

After the $1.4 billion success of Barbie, Mattel Films is putting another one of its beloved doll lines on the development track.
Paramount Pictures and Maze Runner and Twilight outfit Temple Hill are developing a feature project based on the American Girl dolls, with Lindsey Anderson Beer, who recently worked with Paramount on Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, is set to write and produce the project.
Talks between Mattel, Paramount, and Temple Hill began earlier this year.
The American Girl doll line started in the late ’80s, and features dolls with historically accurate backgrounds, the idea being they represent different eras of American history. The line included supplementary books about the dolls’ lives. The first three dolls in the line — Molly, Samantha, and Kirsten — represented the World War II era, turn-of-the-century America, and 19th century farmland, respectively.
Said Beer, “Growing up, my sister and I were American Girl girls. I had Kirsten, and she had Molly.

Avengers co-star Cobie Smulders is returning to network television while staying in the world of comic book adaptations as the lead of Stumptown, ABC’s drama pilot from writer Jason Richman, Ruben Fleischer and ABC Studios.
Written by Richman, Stumptown is inspired by the graphic novels published by Oni Press. It follows Dex Parios (Smulders), a strong, assertive, and unapologetically sharp-witted Army veteran working as a P.I. in Portland, Or. With a complicated personal history and only herself to rely on, she solves other people’s messes with a blind eye toward her own.
Smulders’ Dex is a whip-smart, hard-luck heroine you can’t help but get behind. Once a decorated Military Intelligence officer overseas, Dex is now back home in Portland, Oregon, unable to hold down a steady job, spinning her wheels, running up gambling debts, waiting for trouble to catch up with her — and so it does.
