Megan wants to avoid jail—and that's exactly what she managed to do. Megan Hauserman, the reality star who didn't win Bret Michaels' heart on Rock of Love and whose own show, Megan Wants a Millionaire, was abruptly yanked off the air thanks to a real-life murder scandal, has pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of DUI. Here's what went down. According to Ed Griffith, spokesman for the Miami State Attorney's Office, as part of a deal with prosecutors, the 29-year-old Hauserman accepted a guilty plea on March 22. In exchange, she was sentenced to six months' probation, fined $1,000 and had her driver's license suspended for six months. The Florida native was also ordered to...

Sharon Osbourne and Megan Hauserman have settled their lawsuits against one another out of court nearly two years after they fought on the Rock of Love: Charm School reunion. Sharon Osbourne's showdown with a reality TV reject kicked off on Wednesday - jurors were selected after both sides failed to settle their feud outside the courtroom.
Megan Hauserman is suing the rock matriarch over allegations she assaulted her during a recording of U.S. TV series Rock Of Love: Charm School in December 2008.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Abraham A. Khan had offered to meet privately with Hauserman, Osbourne and their attorneys to resolve the matter before calling in a jury panel.
But Osbourne's attorney insisted the parties were "six figures away" from agreeing on a settlement, while Hauserman's lawyer, Roderick L. Lindblom, vowed to show jurors video evidence of the attack.
Lindblom intends to drop Hauserman's intentional infliction of emotional distress accusation, leaving only allegations of battery and negligent infliction of emotional distress to be tried.
He also plans to make Osbourne the first witness he calls to the stand.
Osbourne is countersuing Hauserman, claiming the blonde initiated their TV scrap for publicity.
The brawl began after the contestant insulted Osbourne's husband Ozzy, calling the former Black Sabbath star a "brain-dead rocker". The 58 year old allegedly retaliated by grabbing Hauserman by the hair and scratching her.

Sharon Osbourne will come face-to-face with reality TV reject Megan Hauserman in a Los Angeles courtroom next year - a judge has set a trial date over allegations of battery.
The wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne is being sued by Hauserman amid claims she was attacked by Osbourne after appearing on her U.S. TV series Rock Of Love: Charm School in December 2008.
Osbourne is said to have lost her temper when the contestant insulted her husband, calling the former Black Sabbath star a "brain-dead rocker".
Hauserman filed suit accusing the rock matriarch of battery, negligence and infliction of emotional distress. She went on to further allege that Osbourne attempted to assault a process server when he tried to hand her legal papers in April 2009.
Osbourne subsequently countersued, claiming Hauserman initiated the brawl on TV for her own publicity.
Defending her actions, Osbourne said, "She had it coming, big time. It shows you how dumb she is. Anyone who knows anything about me knows not to say anything about my family, or you're going to get it. Say what you like about me, but don't ever, ever, ever insult my family."
The two parties will now meet in a Los Angeles court on 8 February, unless they can reach a settlement before the case goes to trial, reports Eonline.com.
Police were brought in to investigate Hauserman's allegations against Osbourne, but no charges were filed.

More details have emerged in Kenward "Boo" Bernis alleged battery case from April 28. TMZ is reporting that the woman he allegedly roughed up in the Bootleggers Bar in Lafayette, Louisiana is none other than "Big Brother 2" contestant Krista Stegall.
You may remember Boo from his fifth-place finish on "Survivor: Fiji" and Krista from her infamous post-show proposal from Mike "Boogie" Malin (pictured above, right). Shockingly, that did not work out.
Stegall alleges that Bernis stormed into the bathroom, "grabbed her arms, shoved her against a wall, and shouted, 'This is my bar!'" Bernis co-owns Bootleggers Bar with current "Survivor" contestant Russell Hantz.
Stegall filed for a restraining order against Bernis last week and says that while they are longtime friends, they never dated.

It appears the real "Survivor" villains do their worst out in the real world.

The construction worker, who was the 14th person voted out on "Survivor: Fiji," is accused of grabbing a woman in the ladies restroom of Bootleggers Bar and "forcibly move[ing] her."
Wait, a sec. Lafayette and "Survivor"? If this sounds all too familiar, it is. Current "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" contestant Russell Hantz was arrested for battery recently in the same city.

"Survivor's" favorite love-to-hate villain has had a run-in with the law.
Russell Hantz -- he of the piercing eyes, pot belly and black soul -- was arrested in Lafayette, Louisiana Friday morning (April 23) for attacking someone at the Festival International de Louisiane, reports TMZ.
The castaway was partying during the five-day Francophone world music street fest when he allegedly "shoved" a fellow festivalgoer to the pavement.
Before you could say "Survivors, ready? Go!" he was cuffed and taken to a nearby jail where he was eventually released.
Hantz, who was a runner-up on "Survivor: Samoa," is currently still in play on "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains."

Megan Hauserman, star of "Beauty & the Geek," "Rock of Love" and "Megan Wants a Millionaire," was arrested early Thursday morning (April 15) after police saw her weaving between lanes and going 20 mph over the speed limit.
Megan had "bloodshot, watery eyes, a strong odor of alcohol and slurred speech," the cops told TMZ. Her explanation was that she had been "filming a TV show and was tired," but she blew a .102 on the Breathalyzer test and was then arrested. She had been driving to the Miami Beach strip club where she is currently employed.
She was released early Friday morning after spending a day in jail. The last time Megan made headlines was in the summer of 2009 when her Vh1 "Megan Wants a Millionaire" show was canceled after contestant Ryan Jenkins killed his ex-wife Jasmine Fiore and then killed himself.

There were definitely a lot of sentiments expressed regarding the recent reality TV tragedy, but we haven't really heard from Megan Hauserman herself. Now that her show has been canceled and her dreams of snagging a millionaire have been obstructed, what is she to do? Sure, there's mourning to be done and tears to be shed, but life is still rolling through and we can't do anything about it.

The 32-year-old who was wanted by authorities and found dead in his hotel room spent quite a lot of time with Megan on Megan Wants a Millionaire, and he surely meant something to her.

The VH1 reality series "Megan Wants a Millionaire" has officially been canceled following the homicide and apparent suicide controversy of one of its contestants Ryan Jenkins.
Jenkins, 32, was found dead in a Canadian motel room on Sunday from an apparent suicide, which brought an end to an international manhunt for his search. He had been wanted for the murder of his wife, Jasmine Fiore, whose mutilated body was found stuffed in a suitcase in a trash bin.
He was one of the hopefuls for the hand of reality show veteran Megan Hauserman in the "Bachelorette"-style show, in which seventeen wealthy single men compete for her love. It had debuted on air on August 2, but had been postponed and eventually canceled altogether after the controversy.

Vancouver, British Columbia -- A reality TV star wanted for the brutal murder of his bikini model ex-wife in California has been found dead in a motel near Vancouver, Canadian police said on Sunday.
Ryan Jenkins, a Canadian who was the subject of a manhunt in the United States and Canada, apparently took his own life while hiding at the motel in Hope, British Columbia, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Local media said Jenkins hung himself, but Canadian police refused to confirm details of his death after finding his body in the motel room on Sunday.
Authorities in California had charged Jenkins, 32, with the murder of Jasmine Fiore, whose mutilated body was found in a suitcase stuffed into a trash bin just over a week ago in the town of Buena Park outside Los Angeles.
Police said Fiore's fingers and teeth had been removed to make it harder to identify her body,...

Executives at VH1 are uncertain about whether the network will air reality show I Love Money 3, which features Ryan Jenkins, the man charged with murder in the death of his ex-wife.
Production on the latest cycle in the I Love Money franchise wrapped earlier this year and was expected to air in 2010, according to the Associated Press. A spokesman for the network told the AP that no decision about the show's future had been made.
Jenkins, who was one of 17 bachelors competing for the affection of former Rock of Love contestant Megan Hauserman on Megan Wants a Millionaire, is suspected in the murder of Jasmine Fiore, his ex-wife and former bikini model. The finger pointing is already starting in the matter of "Megan Wants a Millionaire."
VH1 has decided, at least temporarily, not to air the remaining episodes of the reality show. That's because one of the contestants, Ryan Jenkins, has suddenly become a murder suspect.
(Update: 'Megan' has been canceled, permanently, according to an AP report).
This is where the story should end.

Megan may want a millionaire, but VH1 doesn't want a man possibly to blame for killing his wife on its airwaves. Go figure. The manhunt for the cable-created reality star turned "person of interest" Ryan Alexander Jenkins—wanted, so far, for nothing more than questioning in the murder of his model wife—turned international this morning. Washington state sheriff's officials are saying it's possible the millionaire Canadian somehow snuck back across the border. Jenkins, who was one of the final contestants on the suddenly (and understandably) pulled Megan Wants a Millionaire, as well as a contestant on the already filmed but not yet aired I Love Money 3, has been wanted by...

Here's another tale of reality television gone awry. Real estate developer Ryan Alexander Jenkins, one of Megan Hauserman's suitors on VH1's Megan Wants a Millionaire, is a suspect in the murder of swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore.
The police are currently hoping to question Jenkins, listed as a "person of interest" in the murder, as he is the victim's supposed boyfriend/husband. The two met on the Strip in Las Vegas, shortly after the guy's elimination from Megan Wants a Millionaire. They were married in March, a couple of days after their first encounter.

Nearly five months ago, Ryan Alexander Jenkins, a contestant on Megan Wants a Millionaire and I Love Money 3 - and a real-life millionaire from Canada - impulsively married Playboy model Jasmine Fiore in Las Vegas. Their move to Los Angeles, with the blond and buxom Fiore, 28, hoping to work in real estate or as a personal trainer while Jenkins, 32, traveled North America competing for money and another woman's attentions, could have been a reality show of its own. But now the story has taken a deadly turn from escapist television fare: Fiore has been murdered, the Millionaire show has been pulled off the air,...
