Here are Avengers Wanda Maximoff and her beau Vision in an environment we’ve never seen them before: In American suburbia in black and white. It all looks like an episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show, but that’s part of the point in WandaVision.
Disney+ debuted its first Marvel Cinematic Universe series in January to great reviews. But taking place following the events of Avengers: Endgame, it is quite a 180 when we see Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany playing husband and wife in a giddy 1960s sitcom.
That’s the point, however, and the premiere episode “Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience” written by series creator Jac Schaeffer is part of a slow burn into the inner psyche and surrounding environment of Olsen’s Wanda. For Schaeffer, WandaVision is built around the stages of grief, while director Matt Shakman met with folks like Van Dyke to authentically stage...

(This article contains spoilers for the first three episodes of the first Disney+ Marvel series, “WandaVision”)
One of the big topics we’re inevitably going to focus on when talking about “WandaVision” over the next couple months will be those fake TV commercials. There was one in each of the first three episodes of the Disney+ show, and there’s little doubt we’ll see more of them as the series goes on.
The first of these commercials is for a fancy toaster, the second is for a fancy watch, and the third is for a bath soak. While these asides might seem like just fun gags — they’re references to other parts of the Marvel Cinematic Universe — they’re definitely more than just that. In fact, they’re actually important to the plot somehow.

A web series that has been in Maker Studios’ developmental pipeline for more than a year has finally arrived. Ithamar Has Nothing To Say, a comedy executive produced by Key & Peele duo Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, is now available on the Maker.TV platform.
Ithamar Has Nothing To Say is based off the wordless comedy act of its star, Ithamar Enriquez. In the six-part series, Ithamar comes to the United States and interacts with the locals. The result is a slapstick offering that is somewhere between a Mr. Bean episode and a satire of American culture.
As with other series distributed by Maker Studios, Ithamar Has Nothing To Say features many guest appearances from the network’s creative partners. YouTube stars who show up in the first episode include Kassem G and EpicLloyd. Key and Peele are in there too, as a pair of talent agents who evaluate Ithamar’s act.

Two TV stars are deepening their ties to YouTube. Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, best known for their combined work on Comedy Central sketch show Key and Peele, are two of the producers of Ithamar Has Nothing To Say, an upcoming comedy series they are working on with Maker Studios and Principato-Young Entertainment. Ithamar Has Nothing To Say stars actor and comedian Ithamar Enriquez as a traveler who encounters different aspects of American culture, all while remaining completely silent. The series will last for six episodes, with each one running between five and eight minutes. “We like to describe it as Mr. Bean meets Louie meets Walter Mitty,” said Corey Moss, Svp of Digital and Production at Principato-Young Entertainment. “We actually sold the show by having Ithamar perform part of his show in the room, which was amazing to watch!” The show extends Key and Peele's existing online video presence.
