Directed by Justin Denton, the pic tells the story of Rick, a poor construction worker, who makes a deal with a dying business mogul to inherit his business empire and property worth billions. The deal is that once the man dies, Rick must eat a lavish meal of the dead man’s corpse. In doing so, he unwittingly inherits the many gruesome sins and crimes the billionaire committed in order to build his fortune. Rick’s newfound wealth and lifestyle are soon interrupted by increasingly disturbing and dangerous visions of the billionaire’s victims.

Marvel Comics' "Spider-Man: Far From Home" Prelude #1, available March 2019, is written by Will Corona Pilgrim and illustrated by Luca Maresca in support of Marvel Studios' Summer 2019 release, "Spider-Man-Far From Home":
"...'Peter Parker' has already fought with the 'Avengers', but now he faces his biggest challenge: High School! Having the proportionate strength and agility of a spider doesn't help Peter fit in, but when a piece of alien 'Chitauri' technology falls into the wrong hands, his abilities just may be the only thing standing between New York City and annihilation! Well, that and the expert tutelage of one 'Tony Stark' aka 'Iron Man'..."

These next couple of weeks are set to either be a very important or very disappointing time for Marvel fans, with the first Avengers 4 trailer widely predicted to come out before the end of this month, but with slight doubts starting to emerge from various parts of the internet. Indeed, as November moves into its final third, we’ve had no clear signs from Marvel Studios or the Russo Brothers of the teaser’s impending arrival, but however this current online uncertainty is resolved, we can at least be comfortable in knowing that the Avengers 4 Prelude comic will be released next month.
The first issue of the series comes to us from author Will Corona Pilgrim and artist Paco Diaz, and will be available from December 5th. And while we expect the comic to contain at least a little context for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War sequel, Marvel has already...

The McU has faced more than its share of world-threatening dangers over the years, and while Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and associates have usually managed to make things right, there’ve been several close calls, raising the question of why Nick Fury has been sitting on what might be his biggest trump card for the last couple of decades. We’re of course referring to Carol Danvers, who’s set to make her big screen debut in the next year’s Captain Marvel and will be joined by a de-aged Fury in the recently reported year of 1995.
Despite knowing about Brie Larson’s character all this time, Fury only chose to call on the services of the franchise’s most powerful hero to date in this year’s Avengers: Infinity War, and according to author Will Corona Pilgrim, the former S.H.I.E.L.D. director had good reason...

As the cinematic event of 2018, the industry’s leading toy manufacturers currently have all hands on deck in preparation for Avengers: Infinity War.
It’s the product of 10 years’ worth of big-budget superhero movies, and with so many characters at its disposal – word is Joe and Anthony Russo’s Herculean crossover touts a character roster in excess of 76 costumed crusaders – the likes of Funko and Hasbro are practically spoilt for choice when it comes to building and designing Infinity War merchandise.
And thanks to Kotaku, down below you’ll find a gallery filled with Hasbro’s Avengers lineup, followed by a slew of pint-sized Pop! Vinyl figures that help separate friend from foe. Because with so many characters on the casting docket, you’d be forgiven for losing tracking of who’s who. Even after Black Panther‘s release and subsequent box office success, the hunt for the McU’s Soul Stone continues unabated.
Though many had assumed that Ryan Coogler would have at least alluded to its existence, all signs currently point to the Soul Stone being revealed during the midst of Avengers: Infinity War later this year, when Thanos will begin his quest for world domination.
That’s a quest that will likely spill over into 2019, given the so-far untitled Avengers 4 is slated for release next May. In short, don’t be too surprised if Marvel chooses to sit on its Soul Stone reveal for another 12 months, by which point viewers will be flocking to see Captain Marvel on the silver screen. Speaking of Carol Danvers, there has even been evidence to suggest that Brie Larson’s solo pic will herald our first look at the Soul Stone.

The Sorcerer Supreme may well be Marvel’s ace in the hole going into Avengers: Infinity War.
Having wrangled the Eye of Agamotto – and, by effect, the Time Stone – under control back in 2016, Stephen Strange knows a thing or two about the stones and their destructive capabilities. He has the Masters of the Mystic Arts to thank for that, as Infinity War‘s prelude comic has outlined a scene set in the world-famous Sanctum Sanctorum where Wong informs Strange about Agamotto and the current whereabouts of each cosmic ingot.
And so, after some brief exposition, Doctor Strange discovers that the Power Stone was cast astray on Morag (where it was later retrieved by a smooth-talking Star-Lord) along with Malekith’s mishandling of the Reality Stone in Thor: The Dark World. Could the mysterious woman seen below be Umar? Or is it possible that she's Clea? More likely, she's probably Zealot (played by Zara Phythian), a character who seems to be the "Faora" to Mads Mikkelsen's "Zod". With the mention of The Dark Elves, we know the prelude will take place in the present-day Marvel timeline so these events likely occur not too far ahead of where the Doctor Strange movie will begin. In other Doctor Strange news, check out what Benedict Wong has to say about the film's interpretation of 'Wong'. It's definitely a big departure from his traditional role in the comics. A prequel comic for Avengers: Age of Ultron has revealed the origins of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.
Marvel Comics' Avengers: Age of Ultron Prelude - This Scepter'd Isle explains how the twins received their powers in the Marvel Studios cinematic universe.
The digital Infinite Comic by Will Corona Pilgrim and Wellinton Alves follows the path of Loki's staff after the events of Joss Whedon's 2012 film Avengers Assemble.
It falls into the hands of Hydra leader Baron Strucker, who performs experiments in the fictional European city of Sokovia, using the sceptre to unlock powers in his test subjects.
Two of those subjects are Wanda and Pietro Maximoff - aka long-time Avengers Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.
The pair are traditionally mutants - appearing in Fox's X-Men: Days of Future Past - but as Marvel does not have the film rights to mutants, there has been much speculation as to the...

Marvel Comics' new Ant-Man prequel has revealed a connection between Peggy Carter and Hank Pym.
Will Corona Pilgrim and Miguel Sepulveda's comic features the original Ant-Man and the star of Agent Carter, creating a link between the television show and upcoming film.
"Before Scott Lang becomes Marvel's shrinking sensation, Dr Hank Pym will pull on the helmet and leap into action on a death-defying mission that will take him into the icy heart of Cold War East Berlin," reads the solicitation for the issue.
A preview of the comic was released this week. Set in Pym's youth, it will be a two-issue miniseries.
Hayley Atwell has appeared as Agent Carter in both Captain America films, Agents of Shield and the Agent Carter one-shot and show.
Michael Douglas will portray an older Pym opposite his replacement Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) in Ant-Man, which will be released on July 17.

The trailer for Marvel’s next big summer blockbuster Ant-Man just came out and there’s already a prequel announced for it. Well kind of. Starting in February, Marvel Comics will release a two part story centered on a young Hank Pym (played by Michael Douglas in the film) titled Ant-Man Prelude.
The two part comic series will be written by Will Corona Pilgrim. Pilgrim might be a name you’re unfamiliar with but he’s actually Creative Research Director for Marvel Studios. He’s basically knee deep in all the going-ons concerning anything having to do with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it makes sense he’d be writing a story in that continuity. That’s right these comic books are canonical with the Marvel movies.
The story focuses on Pym on a mission set during the Cold War. For yet unexplained reasons Pym will be going to the Berlin Wall.

Next month will see the release of Ant-Man Prelude, a two-part comic book which will reveal more about Hank Pym's early adventures. The story will be set during the Cold War, but how much it will reveal about the movie and the fate of Janet Van Dyne remains to be seen. Writer Will Corona Pilgrim says, "The Cold War played a pivotal role in the post-World War II world and shaping what would become the agency we all know as S.H.I.E.L.D. but when you’re talking about a global conflict that spanned decades, there is definitely a distinction between Peggy’s Cold War era, which would have been around the time of the Truman doctrine and Hank’s, which would have been closer to when Gorbachev was leader of the Soviet Union. S.H.I.E.L.D.’s evolving position in the world during...

Welcome To Issue 72!
If This Is Your First Time Here: Welcome! This is my weekly column where I talk about superhero movie news, rumors and speculation. Dr. Strange director Scott Derrickson thinks I'm a F*cktard. Sony claims things I say have “no validity whatsoever.”
This Week: Marvel casting abound! But what does it mean? That plus a probably not true breakdown of the whole plot of the upcoming Fantastic Four movie.
With the announcement that Daniel Bruhl was joining Captain America: Civil War as a villain, the internet was sent into detective-mode (not by Serial) to try and discover who this new villain is and why Variety claimed Bruhl’s character would be back as the antagonist in Doctor Strange.
That made no sense, as there’s not a Mystical Marvel character that would naturally fit into what we understand will be a Tony Stark Vs. Stever Rogers whilst pining for Bucky movie.

The Iron Man 3 Prelude is a very meagre, disappointing release from Marvel. I’m as excited for the upcoming film as anyone but this book is just a cynical cash-grab by Marvel who’ve put out a poor quality paperback filled with dreary material that doesn’t really look to have anything to do with Iron Man 3.
The first two issues of the book are for some reason a recap of Iron Man 2. I have no idea who the audience is for these two issues as if you’re reading this book then you’re an Iron Man fan who’s undoubtedly seen IM2 and probably own several versions of it already – a compressed comic book version of it with rushed art should be, and is, of little interest to anyone.
Then the actual IM3 prelude begins but it’s only 2 issues and barely features Iron Man!

"Coulson has always been the official/unofficial face of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s S.H.I.E.L.D.," said Marvel Studios Creative Manager of Research and Development Will Corona Pilgrim in a recent interview with Newsarama about Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson. As fans know, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been a major character in the films as they clandestinely monitor the workings of various super powers; and while Nick Fury is the one in charge, Coulson is definitely the one in the trenches. After seeing such a positive reaction to the character in the first Iron Man movie, we never had a problem finding excuses to include Coulson. Like Nick Fury, the characters both expanded into the bigger Avengers picture as each film moved forward." Having become such a popular part of the cinematic universe, Agent Coulson (voiced by Clark Gregg) was soon announced as a part of the upcoming Ultimate Spider-Man animated series. Jeph Loeb,...
