Den Of Geek Us visited the offices of Harmony Gold to get updates on the status of the long gestating Robotech film.
For years fans have been waiting for a live action movie based on the popular Robotech series. The news has been slow coming, with the biggest being the announcement of James Wan as director in 2015. In fact, production on the movie has made development of any new material on the animated side complicated for Harmony Gold, the owners of the Robotech franchise.
That may sound like Sony, the company behind the movie, is playing hardball, but Billy Davis, executive vice president of Harmony Gold points out they have a much better relationship with Sony then they did with the last movie studio (Warner Bros) who had the rights to Robotech.
