Rodrigo Huerta is a filmmaker/animator. He was born in San Benito, Texas, the son of two Mexican immigrants.
He received a Bachelor of Science in computer science and graduated magna cum laude. However, his passions took him to pursue character animation & after 6 months of study, he landed a job at DreamWorks SKD in Glendale, California.
Later, he joined as an animation director / writer for Fox ADHD and helped develop the Axe Cope television series with Ethan Nicole.
He achieved notoriety for his work online, through sites like YouTube & Newgrounds, amassing ten of millions of views for his comedy work.
Besides animation & film, he has acted in several shorts & provided voice work for different projects.
He was admitted to the prestigious French animation school Gobelins under "advanced placement", but could not attend due to financial restraints.
He was asked to quit his job as a cartoonist at Texas A&M University for his "Stinging Foam" comics. The comics were deemed too offensive despite their popularity.
Received academic scholarships from Pixar and Sony Pictures ImageWorks.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
