Earlier it was reported that Raghuleela Infrastructure, a firm in which Vivek Oberoi is a partner, would be investing Rs. 200 crore in developing a themed resort and township in Gujarat. Now we hear that the firm has since decided on doubling its investment to Rs. 400 crore after the Gujarat government announced its new tourism policy. In view of developing the 'Royal Beach City-The Goa' resort and township near Ganeshpura village on Vataman-Dholka highway, 45 kms from Ahmedabad, Oberoi also met the Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel and Tourism Minister Saurabh Patel. Commenting on the same, Oberoi stated that the new tourism police by the Gujarat government boosted their confidence to invest more.
