This article contains spoilers for X-Men ’97 episode 9.
Wolverine has always been a mystery, ever since he stalked the Hulk through the Canadian wilderness in his 1974 first appearance. Over the years, readers got occasional glimpses into his past, from his real name(s) to his shady black ops missions.
One of the most shocking reveals came in the aftermath to 1993’s X-Men #25, the climax of the crossover event Fatal Attractions, when an incensed Magneto ripped out Wolverine’s Adamantium skeleton.
X-Men ’97 has already run through some of the most important events in X-Men history, covering Inferno, Mutant Massacre, and E is for Extinction in the span of nine 22-minute episodes. But the series set up something much bigger when it pulled from Fatal Attractions in the penultimate episode of the first season, “Tolerance is Extinction Part Two.” By that episodes end, a desperate Magneto stops Wolverine the only way he knows how,...

The ‘Fantastic Four’ movie is generating a lot of excitement in the MCU community. Just a few days ago, the release date and cast were announced, confirming long-standing rumors. Pedro Pascal is set to play Reed Richards, while Vanessa Kirby will portray Sue Storm.
Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn will take on the roles of The Thing and the Human Torch respectively. Filming is scheduled to start this summer. Due to a change in the release date, ‘Thunderbolts’ has been rescheduled to May 2, 2025. Despite the confirmation of the main cast, there’s still no news about the movie’s potential villain.
Several months ago, Antonio Banderas was reportedly the leading candidate for the role of Galactus in the movie. However, he was eventually replaced by Javier Bardem, who was also just rumored to be the top choice. Now that the Silver Surfer casting has been confirmed, our attention shifts back to Galactus.

I didn't mean to make "The Amazing Race" host Phil Keoghan self-conscious, but I also couldn't help but notice that one of his first words at the Season 26 Starting Line was to ask the assembled teams, "Did anybody get like a tingly feeling?" And that seemed liked a very different thing for Phil Keoghan to say at the start of an "Amazing Race" season. This is, of course, an "Amazing Race" season like none that has come before. This season's 11 teams include six established couples in various stages of relationships, but also five teams of 10 singles paired around semi-arbitrary criteria, turning the Emmy-winning series into half of a very ambitious dating show. So I mentioned the "tingly feeling" line to Phil in our discussion and that made him a bit self-conscious about tingly feelings. Apologies! "The Amazing Race" premieres on Wednesday (February 25) night at 9:30 after the "Survivor" premiere (before...

Review Mark Harrison 14 Mar 2014 - 07:32
After a run of inventive, bonkers episodes, Community feels somewhat generic this week. Here's Mark's review...

5.9 Vcr Maintenance And Educational Publishing
“If Rachel or I win, Rachel moves in. If you or Anthony win, I'll gladly surrender, and count down the days until he eats me.”
After a blinding run of episodes, Vcr Maintenance And Educational Publishing feels almost generic. Well, not generic- there's no show that could do an episode that was principally about a Wild West-themed Vcr-based board game, and come off as generic. But as we approach the final stretch of the fifth season, this marks the first point since the gas-leak year where it (at least partly) feels like a product of its own tropes.
The main issue is really that the B-plot overwhelms much of the central premise - perhaps that's inevitable, given how more...

That's right, Stan "The Man" will return to comic writing with Stripperlla. Lee actually created the original version of the character along with Anthony Winn before the cartoon put a different spin on it. You can see Stan and co at Sdcc. The first comic book that Stan Lee has actually written for quite some time. And it’s Stripperella. Nothing to do with he cartoon, it;’s intended to be as Stan would have written it from his original idea. Copies will be signed at the show. Thanks to Bleeding Cool for the info and pics, for a few more head over to the site. By TwitterButtons.com...
