- Bob Guy was born on July 30, 1920 in New York, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for Jeepers Creepers Theater (1962). He died on September 10, 1984 in Tacoma, Washington, USA.

- In the early sixties, Bob Guy was a local TV horror movie host who wanted to make a record. He drove out to studio Z in a white Cadillac, wearing a business suit and horn rimmed glasses. Frank Zappa wrote both tracks and played most of the instruments, with Dick Barber on backup vocals and percussion. Bob Guy: "Deer Jeepers" / "Letter from Jeepers", (1963, 7 inch) The A and B side, written by Frank Zappa.
