Mollie Marriott

Mollie Marriott is an actress, known for The 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame Induction Ceremony (2012) and Gimme 6 (2001). Mollie Mae Marriott
was born 3rd May 1985 to Manon Piercey and Steve Marriott, vocalist and
guitarist with Small Faces and Humble Pie. Mollie has continued the
family tradition as a vocalist. Her first record deal was as a member
of girl band D2M at the age of 12. The group were signed by Sharpe End
and followed in the footsteps of Kylie. She recorded with producer
Steve Mac (who writes and records with Britney, Westlife & Take That)
for 5 years whilst a member of D2M.She has also recorded both on album
and DVD with Joe Brown, did lead and backing vocals on Dean Rees, Sweet
felicity Arkwright, The Tsunami Appeal for Mod Aid where she sang lead
vocal on the single Afterglow and backing vocals with P.P.Arnold and
she has also done backing vocals for Oasis & Proud Mary. Mollie sang at
the Astoria London tribute to her late father Steve performing with
Paul Weller, Zak Starkey & Deborah Bonham and at The Royal Albert Hall
with Dean Rees and Steve Ellis as part of the Ronnie lane Memorial
Concert. She has also worked live with Joe Brown and his band before
having been involved with a week run at the Theatre Royal Windsor
whilst previewing the songs for the Musical Skiffle which Joe and Roger
Cook have written. She has sung backing vocals for Joe, Dennis
Locorriere (Dr Hook), Mark Knopfler and Chas and Dave for Joe Browns 50
years in show business gig at The Royal Albert Hall.As well as having a
rock side, She has been known to prove her soul and R'n'B side by
working with Beyonce and her Fathers well known Backing Singer and
Ikette P.P Arnold. Proving Mollie to be a versatile vocal talent!
Mollie has been known for her session work for the likes of ITV and the BBC and many advert and film work
Mollie's last session was working with the Legendary Tony Visconti for the new album from Jim Stapley.
Mollie has now decided to fly solo so using her Rock influence and mixing it with her soulful sounds, Mollie is set to conquer the music industry at full speed.
