Warned you guys there would be a lot of Iron Man 3 news today....Unless you've been living under a rock, the leak of a Deep Space Suit for Iron Man has prompted many to believe that the end-credits stinger in Iron Man 3 will have Tony Stark meet up with The Guardians of the Galaxy. That very scenario is currently playing out in the pages of Marvel Comics which I suspect was the initial source of this rumor. But the confirmed existence of concept art has lead many to believe that this rumor is indeed true. Below, Feige talks to my buddy Derrick Deane of Fandango about whether the film will even have an end-credits stinger. On whether there's an end-credit scene attached to Iron Man 3. Feige: It's sort of case-by-case. I mean, I don't want to be in that theater when even two people stay behind and nothing happens.

The Hobbit director Peter Jackson recently posted on Facebook:
“We made it! Shoot day 266 and the end of principal photography on The Hobbit. Thanks to our fantastic cast and crew for getting us this far, and to all of you for your support! Next stop, the cutting room. Oh, and Comic Con! Cheers, Peter J”
He doesn’t specify whether he means Part 1 (aka An Unexpected Journey) or the whole thing, but it’s feasible to think that it might be the whole thing, since it’s one big story, and it would make sense to film it all in one go.
However, looking elsewhere, it seems that he's referring to principal photography on both films. Fansite TheOneRing.net said a few days ago that the plan was for a “wrap party on July 7 after shooting both films in three distinct blocks.” They also elaborated that:

Most excellent news for you Wyld Stallyns fans. It appears a script for Bill and Ted 3 has been completed and is currently in the hands of Alex Winter aka Bill S. Preston, Esq. The storyline for this third most triumphant outing picks up on a sequence in Excellent Adventure, where Bill and Ted were informed that their music would save the world. Well, it hasn’t happened yet so the duo travel back in time (no idea who will replace George Carlin’s Rufus) to make things right. No release date has been set for Bill and Ted 3, but Winter and Keanu Reeves seem eager and excited to reprise their roles. That been said, are you interested in taking another trip with our most legendary time traveling dudes or is it time to unplug the amps? --Derrick Deane

She may not have gotten the lead in Hunger Games, but Deadline is reporting that True Grit breakout star Hailee Steinfeld is attached to a revised version of Sleeping Beauty. Granted, with Alice in Wonderland grossing over a billion dollars worldwide last year and three Snow White movies hitting the screen soon, it was only a matter of time before other well-known fairy tales got the revisionist treatment. This new version will be told from Sleeping Beauty’s point of view as she enters into the dream world and has to find her way out. Steinfeld showed some serious acting potential in Grit so it’s hard to argue against this casting and it’s likely this script won’t be sitting in Hollywood limbo for long. --Derrick Deane

Summit Entertainment, the company that brought you Twilight and Red (that’ll probably be on the promotional poster), has picked up domestic distribution rights to I, Alex Cross, which will be considered a reboot of the franchise. Forget all the rumors you heard about Zac Efron starring in the big screen adaptation of Akira. After a rewrite by Harry Potter scribe Steve Kloves that reportedly has “studio brass excited,” the movie is set for an August start date with a short list of names up for the roles of Tetsuo and Kaneda that’ll raise eyebrows (and maybe even some anger and disgust in a few of you, too). For Tetsuo, a script has been handed to Robert Pattinson, Andrew Garfield and James McAvoy. Five actors are being considered for Kaneda: Garrett Hedlund, Michael Fassbender, Chris Pine, Justin Timberlake and Joaquin Phoenix. As if that group of non-Asian actors isn’t disappointing enough, plans are to split the series into two parts with each part covering three books. --Derrick Deane

In perhaps the most surprising news of the day, Oscar-nominated director Darren Aronofsky has dropped out of directing the sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In a statement issued by the Black Swan director, Aronofsky says that during the process of prepping for The Wolverine, he became uncomfortable with the prospect of spending almost a year away from his family. Much of the film is scheduled to be shot in Japan. Deadline is also reporting that his withdrawal also involves the director’s divorce from actress Rachel Weisz and the custody of their son. Fox issued a statement saying that while disappointed, they look forward to working with the director in the future and will move forward “aggressively.” So who should step into the vacated director’s chair? --Derrick Deane
