Britney Spears wrote extensively about her relationships with Justin Timberlake and Colin Farrell in her memoir The Woman in Me. She also wrote a song that was seemingly inspired by both of them.
The 41-year-old pop star broke up with the Nsync singer in 2002 and was briefly linked to Colin the following year. Her album In the Zone, out in late 2003, had a B-side on it that finds her seemingly singing about both men.
In a resurfaced podcast interview, Britney‘s collaborator, Joshua Schwartz, opened up about the steamy song and recalled conversations with the pop star while they were working on it and other tracks together.

Rio De Janeiro, Aug 2 (Ians) Colombian playmaker James Rodriguez has said that he needs time to be fully match fit as he prepares to begin a new chapter in his career with Sao Paulo.
The 32-year-old faced the media for the first time since he agreed to a two-year deal with the Brazilian club last Saturday, and he made little attempt to hide his enthusiasm, reports Xinhua.
“Sao Paulo are a big club so it wasn’t hard for me to make the decision to come here,” Rodriguez said.
“It only took me a few days to make my mind up after Sao Paulo offered me a contract. They are a big club with ambitions to win titles and I hope I can help to achieve that.”

Bogota, June 19 (Ians) Midfielder James Rodriguez said Colombia’s players are already seeking to make amends for their failure to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Colombia fell one point short of a playoff spot following a series of underwhelming performances in South America’s grueling two-year qualifying campaign.
“It was sad because we wanted to go to another World Cup,” local media quoted Rodriguez as saying on Sunday. “This generation deserved it. Not going to a World Cup was hard for the players to take. But there’s another one around the corner, and hopefully we can be there.”
Rodriguez is currently without a club after parting ways with Greece’s Olympiacos in April. His lack of recent competitive matches meant he was left out of Nestor Lorenzo’s squad for the Cafeteros’ latest friendlies: a 1-0 win over Iraq in Valencia last Friday and Monday’s clash with Germany in Gelsenkirchen,...

Bogota, June 6 (Ians) Liverpool forward Luis Diaz has returned to Colombia’s squad for upcoming friendlies against Iraq and Germany, the South American country’s football federation said.
The 26-year-old has not represented his country since damaging knee ligaments in Liverpool’s 3-2 defeat at Arsenal last October.
He is joined in the 24-man squad by Everton center-back Yerry Mina, whose injury troubles have kept him out of the national team since January 2022.
But there was no place for veteran forward Radamel Falcao or playmaker James Rodriguez, who have grappled with poor form and fitness problems over the past year, a Xinhua report said.
Head coach Nestor Lorenzo included uncapped midfielders Oscar Cortes and Andres Salazar, who impressed onlookers at this year’s under-20 World Cup in Argentina.
Colombia will play Iraq in Valencia on June 16 and Germany in Gelsenkirchen four days later.

London, Feb 8 (Ians) Manchester City have taken a huge step towards the Premier League title with their recent 4-1 win away to Liverpool -- a triumph that owed a large amount to their impressive finishing and two bad errors from Liverpool keeper, Alisson Becker, who gifted their second and third goals with dreadful passes from the back.
The result leaves Liverpool 10 points behind Manchester City, who have a game in hand over them and over Manchester United and Leicester, five and seven points behind respectively, reports Xinhua news agency.
Two goals from Ilkay Gundogan (also missed a penalty) and one each from Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden on Sunday gave Pep Guardiola's men a record-equaling 14th consecutive win in all competitions.
Although Mohamed Salah's second-half penalty cancelled out Gundogan's 49th-minute opener, two awful passes out from Alisson helped to gift Gundogan and Sterling their goals before Foden underlined...

There are so many ways, to begin with, this issue that trying to nail down one is a bit difficult, but James Roday is changing his name back to James Rodriguez since, realistically, that’s his name, and the pressure he received to change it back in the 90s was absolutely ridiculous, but the chance at stardom was just the kind of pressure it took for him to walk away from his heritage, apparently. In all fairness, he never disowned his family in such a drastic way that they would never again accept him, but he did make it clear that

TV Fanatic favorite, (formerly known as) James Roday, has an update on his name.
He's reclaiming his surname Rodriguez, and he will formerly go as James Roday Rodriguez.
In a heartfelt and reflective interview Rodriguez had with TVLine, he shared with the masses his previous experiences with his name change and the issues he faced as a white Latino.
For decades, actors and entertainers with more "ethnic" sounding names were compelled or flat out forced to change their names to something more palatable and seemingly "Americanized" to improve their advancement in their careers.
It's something in which we've only fairly recently have seen a shift.
Rodriguez's name change has come in a time where the cultural climate is in a state of flux; as the world is having discussions about diversity and change.
In his interview with TVLine, Rodriguez discusses his first experience auditioning as an actor for a large role in a film.

James Rodriguez was a freshman at New York University when the then-aspiring actor first learned that his Mexican-American heritage was going to be a problem for Hollywood.
He had just nailed an audition for a big feature film, but the casting director was put off by the fact that his Caucasian-like skin tone was out of sync with his last name. So he was offered the chance to read for the role of a gang member, only to be told that he wasn’t right for that, either.

A deflected shot from Emil Forsberg edged Sweden into the quarter-finals in a match against England this Saturday. As the swath of fans decked in yellow cheered on coach Janne Andersson, even after the Swedes beat the Swiss 1-0, the crowds at the game between Colombia and England were awash with anxiety later on Tuesday.
After a match of minimal goals — and a Colombian squad sans James Rodriguez due to a calf injury — the match boiled down to penalty kicks after Yerry Mina scored in the 93rd minute to tie Colombia, 1-1, following Harry Kane’s opening goal. No goals were scored in extra time. But the Three Lions managed to overcome their penalty shootout curse with Eric Dier’s winning shot against David Ospina.
Sweden will play England at Samara Arena in Samara on July 7 at 7 a.m. Pt, airing on Fox. The match can be streamed on FoxSports.

In the final round of matches for Group H, Senegal and Colombia will play for a guaranteed spot in the round of 16. Despite Colombia boasting key players like James Rodriguez and a staggering 3-0 win against Poland last Sunday, midfielder Abel Aguilar will not play on Thursday because of a left adductor injury he garnered during the match. But Colombia coach Jose Pekerman said not to rule out Aguilar for the rest of the tournament should Colombia advance to the knockout stage.
Although Senegal scored a 2-2 draw with Japan on Sunday, achieving another draw against Colombia will be enough to move forward if Japan lose to Poland. Senegal also made waves this week when the team’s warm-up dance went viral.

The World Cup is right up there with the Olympics when it comes to the most-watched sporting events on the planet.
The global in-home audience for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil was 3.2B and the final attracted more than 1B (23M in the U.S.). Russia 2018 (June 14-July 15) gets underway today with Lionel Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar among fan favourites set to captivate audiences the world over.
U.S. ratings are expected to be down on the record-breaking 2014 due to the Stars and Stripes’ first no-show since 1990 and the time difference — Moscow is seven hours ahead of New York.
But with eight teams from the Americas in the mix and the NFL and NBA in off-season, soccer’s growing stateside fan-base (a surprising nugget on that line: U.S. nationals have bought the second-most tickets for the competition) could still deliver decent numbers for Fox, which is going all in on its coverage.
