Gina Garza was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. In high school
her peers voted her Most Popular & Most Beautiful, Class President, &
Varsity Cheerleading Captain. Her senior year in high school she
enrolled in a TV class and decided to pursue RTF in college. Gina
received a Bachelor Degree of Science in Radio/TV/Film from the
University of Texas at Austin. In college she would film and interview
UT Head Football Coach Mack Brown at his press conferences, film
hand-held on the football field, & filmed post-game interviews of the
National Champion UT football players through the student run
organization Texas Student Media. Also, at UT Gina received special
project class credit for working on The Oprah Winfrey Show, a Red Bull
short film, Hell's Kitchen II, and other TV/Film productions. Gina
works in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Austin & visits her home in the
Rio Grande Valley.
