It centers around Claude (Sleiman), an American expat who has used his privilege to sexually manipulate men, and has relocated to Serbia during the pandemic to avoid looming legal troubles following the accidental death of a man he spent an evening with. Claude moves into the estate of his mother Gwen (Ardant), a half-Serb, half-French retired entrepreneur with powerful connections.

Night Walk was shot in Los Angeles and Morocco.
Directed and produced by Moroccan-born filmmaker Aziz Tazi, Night Walk follows Frank, a Western traveler visiting the Middle East, where his girlfriend Sarah lives. After a tragic incident leading to Sarah’s death, Frank is wrongfully imprisoned by corrupt police, and under the guidance of the prison’s top shot-caller (Mickey Rourke) and the protection of his Muslim cellmate (French multi-platinum rap artist La Fouine), he unravels political corruption at the top seats of government in his quest for justice. Louis Mandylor and Patrick Kilpatrick also star.
Grindstone has a multi-year agreement with Lionsgate and plans a release for the pic next year.

It's in the classic creature-feature wrapping paper, but contains above-average character arcs formulated by the writers [Alex Greenfield & Ben Powell], and tailored execution by our director and Dp [Issac Gabaeff and Matt Wise respectively]."
