As cliché as it sounds, Batman, Incorporated really ends with a bang. Just like television shows, some conclude on a high note while others embarrassingly fizzle out and overstay their welcome. This series will definitely be held in high esteem because of its emotional impact and mix of family dynamics and action.
Batman, Incorporated: Volume 2: Gotham's Most Wanted contains issues #7 through 13 and Special #1. Talia al Ghul and her Leviathan army wreak havoc on Gotham City in their quest to bring Batman Incorporated to its knees. The Dark Knight and his international team of crimefighters must hit the terrorist organization with everything they've got and more. Before the battle ends, one of the Caped Crusader's greatest allies will tragically fall.
Grant Morrison tackles the writing duties on the conclusion to the "Leviathan" storyline. I love most of Morrison's work on the Batman titles, even if I don't agree with some...

Christos Gage has announced Sunset. The original graphic novel will be the first from Top Cow Productions' creator-owned imprint Minotaur Press. Gage will team with The Darkness artist Jorge Lucas on the tale of a retired mob enforcer. "I think the initial inspiration came from reading more and more stories of people in what we would call their 'sunset years' - seventies, eighties and above - accomplishing physical feats most of us would consider impossible for people their age: running marathons, fighting off muggers - hell, look at Clint Eastwood. He's 80, and would you mess with him? I wouldn't," Gage told (more)...

With the release date of Dead Island now just around the corner, the game’s publishers Deep Silver have this week released a six-page digital “prequel” comic focused on the events that lead directly up to those seen in the game, setting the scene for players before they are dropped unceremoniously amidst the terrifying zombie outbreak in the paradise island resort of Banoi.
The comic written by William Daileystars journalist Roger Howard, whose brief is to investigate the illegal exploitation of the island’s resources, but who will ultimately discover something altogether more chilling…
It isn’t really that spoilerific to confirm that that discovery involves a whole hellstorm of zombies intent on munching all of the resort’s guests.
The comic was previously only available as a printed limited edition at the recent San Diego ComiCon, but you can now cast your eyes on the beautiful artwork by Jorge Lucas,...

The one-shot, penned by Rob Levin (Witchblade) with art by Jorge Lucas (The Incredible Hulk), sees its protagonist Salvador Gomes set adrift in a world of horror inspired by the legendary writer. "The short answer is, it's The Darkness meets Hp Lovecraft," Levin told Comic Book Resources. "It's about a man who has suffered a great loss, and now hes searching for a way to turn back the clock and right a wrong. "Because of various elements like insomnia and peyote, he thinks he can actually travel through time and change his past, only he doesn't know how.
