According to a new report from the folks over at mobipicker.com, Mark Harmon (above) who plays character Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs in CBS' hit action/drama series "NCIS" might be seeing less screentime in this new, 15th season! They have sources telling them that he currently has declining health in his older age. He's currently 66 years old. For this reason, he may not be involved in much of the action scenes that will be taking place. They also stated that Harmon has gone as far as to tell his wife that the current season 15 could very well be his last season! We don't know if this is officially true. So, we'll classify that as a rumor for now. The last time we saw Harmon in action on the show, his character Agent Gibbs along with Agent McGee were taken hostage by a group of insurgents in the deep jungles of Paraguay.

In the wake of Night Of The Living Dead and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, horror has long been the favorite genre of a first-time filmmaker. Independent directors achieving enormous success and career-long legacies from features with all the polish of industrial films has been practically synonymous with horror. It seems hard to fault fledgling filmmakers for being drawn to the genre. The assumption prevails that if film is a gamble, horror is the safest bet; if it fails as art, it can still make money.
