A couple of brief updates on James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2" at Marvel Studios which is currently in the midst of principal photography in Atlanta.
Kurt Russell, Elizabeth Debicki, Tommy Flanagan, and Chris Sullivan will join the returning regulars from the first film, and Cbm claims to have found out the roles that all but Russell will be playing - Debicki is Ayesha, Flanagan is Tullk, and Chris Sullivan is Taserface.
Next up, the film's star Chris Pratt has offered a new set video showing him piloting the Milano on his own on the film's set. Check that out below.

Thanks to the announcement Marvel Studios made at the start of principal photography, we know who will make up the principal cast of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 at this point. However, the roles played by newcomers Kurt Russell, Elizabeth Debicki, Tommy Flanagan, and Chris Sullivan have been a mystery… until now. Well, the identity of Russell’s character is still being kept under wraps (though he’s obviously playing Star-Lord’s father), but we do know who the other three actors are playing - or at least, what their characters’ names are. According to an anonymous source tracking the production, Elizabeth Debicki is playing Ayesha in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, while Tommy Flanagan is Tullk, and Chris Sullivan is playing Tsarface! Now, the last character listed may be an original one, but true Marvel cosmic fans (or those capable of a quick Google search) may recognize the first two names.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has already cast Kurt Russell, now it's been revealed that they've cast another veteran superstar in Sylvester Stallone! Although, don't expect his part to be too huge.
It was reported, last week, by the Daily News that Sylvester Stallone was seen exiting an Atlanta hotel with script in hand. It was later revealed that the script was for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2. We now know Sly's part in the sequel to one of Marvel's best franchises!
Sylvester Stallone will be playing as a Ravager!
This news comes, courtesy of Heroic Hollywood who broke the news first.
For those of you who don't remember who the Ravagers are, that's the team of thieves that Starlord (Chris Pratt) was trying to avoid the entire movie. They are led by the blue skinned, whistling Yondu (Michael Rooker).
The casting seems a bit small for someone of...

Good evening, friends, on this, the day that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has commenced principal photography.
By now you have probably caught the announcement still, but feast your eyes upon it once more, mostly because it’s down at least one Guardian that will be joining the team this time around and Groot is not the imposing figure that he once was.
At this point, I trust James Gunn enough to keep Groot that size the entire film, assuming time some time has passed since the end of the first movie for little Groot to get his tiny legs, the slow process is at the very least a new dimension on the character and at the most is virtually a new character entirely. Gunn has promised to delve more into the characters of the core group, and a Groot that gets more powerful the longer the movie is...

It was first rumored in December, and now it’s been confirmed in a press release: Kurt Russell has officially signed on to be part of the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
Though Russell’s role has yet to be revealed, many are speculating that he’ll be playing the long-lost father of Peter “Star-Lord” Quill (Chris Pratt).
At the end of the first Guardians of the Galaxy film, Quill discovered that his father was an alien, and director James Gunn later confirmed that the elder Quill will factor heavily into Vol. 2. In Marvel Comics’ canon, Quill’s father, J’Son, is the despotic leader of the Spartax race, but Gunn has stated the character will be interpreted differently in the film series.
Guardians of the Galaxy was a surprise hit for Marvel in 2014 and as a veteran sci-fi actor, Russell makes a valuable addition to the cast.

Due to a screening error we missed our recap of last week’s episode “There Are Rules.” But in brief, three major incidents transpired with one a deep tragedy. At the behest of his father, Dr. Bertram “Bertie” Chickering, Jr. (Michael Angarano) lost his mother. After trying to use radiation treatment therapy, Bertie attempted risky surgery to remove his mother's cancerous tumor, and she died in the middle of the operation. His boss, the conservative Dr. Levi Zinberg (Michael Nathanson) was outraged and Bertie resigned before he could be fired. Dr. John Thackery (Clive Owen) continued his obsession with trying to cure addiction, this time exploring hypnosis, but also seemingly taking on the weight of the world in hoping to cure and better everyone. While attending a circus sideshow, he discovered a pair of female conjoined twins, and with the help of Tom Cleary (Chris Sullivan), kidnapped them away from their “guardian” Mr.
