After getting forced into the longest Pit Stop ever by Covid-19, “The Amazing Race” is back. Season 33 premieres Wednesday at 8/7c on CBS, nearly two years after production shut down in February 2020 due to the fast-spreading virus.
Throughout most of 2020, it likely felt improbable at times that the globe-trotting series would roll cameras again, but as Phil Keoghan told Gold Derby last June, producers were diligently drafting a Covid-safe plan for the restart. Season 33 resumed production in September, a year and a half later, using a charter plane and limiting the remaining legs to Europe. Prior to the shutdown, the show completed three episodes in London and Scotland. In the two-hour season premiere of the first two legs, the 11 teams first hit London, where they must find “The Queen” and “Boris Johnson” having a nosh.

The lyrics of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" just got a questionable makeover.
Over the last few years, "Baby, It's Cold Outside" has gone from being that cutesy duet you probably first heard in Elf to a song banned by radio stations over the holidays. The tune, which was written by Frank Loesser and popularized in the 1949 film Neptune's Daughter, has left fans feeling more and more uncomfortable due to its suggestive lyrics, which have led many to wonder if they describe an instance of date rape.
In a scene where a male character is trying to keep a woman from leaving, she sings "My answer is no," before he responds that she can't possibly leave because of the heavy snow. "What's the sense of hurting my pride?" he asks as she tries to leave again, before she eventually exclaims, "Say, what's in this drink?" It's that line in particular that...

Here's something that may terrify all men and make many mothers cackle with glee, because, you know, revenge is sweet. The Holderness family, known for their YouTube parody videos, shared this week a hilarious video of dad Penn Holderness, 40, going through simulated labor, with the assistance of a real doctor and his wife, Kim Holderness, 39. Women who have pushed babies out of their bodies may take delight in the screams of agony released by Penn clad in a hospital gown and laying on a medical bed with his feet up, every time Dr. Sameh Toma from North Carolina Center for Reproductive Medicine, a fertility clinic, makes a frightening-looking medical device cause the man's rectus muscles to...
