Why are Spanish filmmakers so scared about going to Hollywood? I want
to work there and make commercial films! I want my films in English to
be seen all over the world. My films haven't been screened in my own
country yet and there's Spanish talent beyond the borders and it's not
just Banderas and Cruz.
For me, music is always very important in my films. In any film I made I ask to have last voice in choosing the music. I think the director always have to have a creative voice in every aspect.
In the movie business, if you don't have a "godfather" you can't do anything but, when you do something important you have half the way done.
