We’ve already seen the subtle, minimalist beauty of the poster for Lee Tamahori’s film The Devil Double and Lionsgate have decided that it’s time for a trailer.
The Devil’s Double has the ubiqutous grin of Dominic Cooper leading the cast of Ludivine Sagnier, Raad Rawi, Mem Ferda, Dar Salim, Khalid Laith and Pano Masti. It hits Us cinemas 29th July and the Cooper factor will guarantee a UK release.

“The Devil’s Double” tests the limits of just how much a film can get away with when it’s based on a true story. It’s as if the filmmakers decided that there’d been enough pensive, measured films about Iraq and it was about time someone went completely, insanely over the top. The film is ostensibly the story of Latif Yahia, Uday’s look-alike stand-in who makes public appearances, confuses assassination attempts and does whatever else his doppelgänger commands. Uday has grown tired of watching his father have so much fun with...
