The Green Inferno Trailer 3 Has Been Released. Eli Roth‘s The Green Inferno (2015) movie trailer 3 stars Lorenza Izzo and Richard Burgi. The Green Inferno‘s plot synopsis: “A group of student activists travels to the Amazon to save the rain forest and soon discover that they are not alone, and that no good deed goes unpunished.”
There’s a new trailer for Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno, which I thought of as a clip, at first. This is now the third trailer for Roth’s latest, much anticipated exploitation movie. The film has been shelved for quite a long time now, even IMDb lists this as 2013. What we do know, officially, is that this was supposed to be released last year, but studio interference/scheduling conflicts delayed this until now. This September, we’re getting Roth’s homage to Cannibal Holocaust, with some of his critique of westernized/American superiority sprinkled in.

Here’s your first look at an image from Eli Roth’s “The Green Inferno”, the director’s first film since 2007′s “Hostel II”, though he’s produced, “presented”, co-written, and acted in plenty of movies in-between. His latest is “The Green Inferno”, and from the looks of this first image, things are bound to get bloody in the movie. Like, super duper bloody. And the plot to this gory tale of young Americans “gone native”? It reads thusly: Student activists from New York City travel to the remote jungles of Peru in order to stage a protest but instead encounter a tribe of cannibals. Well, that doesn’t sound good. The film stars Lorenza Izzo, Ariel Levy, Sky Ferreira, Nicolás Martínez, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Aaron Burns, Magda Apanowicz, and Matías López. No release date yet, but look for it later this year, along with the Roth-produced/starring “Aftershock&#...

Eli Roth is without a doubt the king of horror for his generation, and so naturally I’m really looking forward to seeing him finally return behind the camera for his fourth feature, The Green Inferno.
After starring alongside them in Aftershock – the brilliant horror movie is due out later this year, and you can read our review here – Roth has once more joined forces with the fantastic Lorenza Izzo and Ariel Levy, casting them here in The Green Inferno.
And now a very bloody first image from the film has been released. And Roth himself has released the official synopsis through his blog, telling us to ignore any others floating around online.
