Miguel Ángel Caballero is a well-known sound recordist and Surround engineer with a solid reputation from more than 35 years ago. He began his professional career in 1984. Under his belt are several films, documentaries, short films and TV series, as well as more than 30 recording releases for record companies as Sony, Warner, Universal and EMI.
Born in Madrid (Spain), Miguel Ángel Caballero is part of the third generation of a family dedicated to filming, which began with Eduardo García Maroto in the 50's as Production Director in the American films shooted in Spain like Spartacus (Stanley Kubrik), Patton (Coppola -Schaffner), El Cid (Anthony Mann), Solomon and the Queen of Saba (King Vidor), Pride and Passion (Stanley Kramer)... continuing with Raúl García Sanz as animator & character designer for Disney Pictures, Touchstone, Amblin Entertainment and 20th Century Fox. Some of his credits are: Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Aladdin, the Lion King, Tarzan, Asterix, Hercules and Pocahontas.
