- Born on Long Island, NY, and raised in Princeton Junction, NJ, Megan grew up on the stages of the McCarter Theatre and the Princeton Ballet. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Virginia with her Master of Teaching and BA in Theatre, Megan moved to New York, where she worked in film, commercials, daytime drama, and on stage - both regionally and within the city. She then relocated to Los Angeles and quickly started to accrue network, cable and pilot credits. Megan has guest starred on CBS, ABC, NBC, TNT, Showtime, Lifetime, Disney and Nickelodeon. Favorite credits include This is Us, How I Met Your Mother, and General Hospital, opposite James Franco. On stage, she has originated numerous roles, including world premieres at the Cherry Lane Theatre, the Abingdon Theatre Company, and the LA premiere of Dog Sees God (ensemble nominations -LADCC, LA Weekly & GLAAD Awards). As a certified educational specialist with 18 years in the field, Megan has managed a successful tutoring business, throughout NYC and LA, utilizing creative instructional methods to help her students master concepts and gain confidence. She is the creator and partner of The Tiny Tutor, a home learning system that guides parents on how to support their childrens' early reading, writing and math development. Megan has been thrilled to combine her passions for acting and education in her work at Warner Loughlin Studios in Hollywood. Here she serves as an in demand certified instructor and coach. She loves to mentor students of all ages in the classroom, and on set, and enjoys watching her clients star across feature films, cable, and network television. Known for her experience with curriculum, individualized instruction, and varied teaching strategies, Megan always brings her commitment to meet the specific needs of her actors and help them grow. She also serves on the UCLA School of Theatre, Film and Television Faculty in their Acting for the Camera Professional Program. As a producer, Megan's first project, ½ hour comedy "Lick It", with writer/creator Bert Royal ("Easy A") sold to a major cable network. She has developed projects and scripts for Hallmark, MTV, Origin Entertainment, Imperative, and has been an ATX Television Festival finalist. She now has several TV projects in development, including a true crime series with EP/Dir. Scott Winant, with writing partner, Nikki DeLoach, and co-writer Charlotte Chatton.
