“What Remains,” a murder mystery and thriller that stars Kellan Lutz and Cress Williams, has sold domestic distribution rights to Gravitas Ventures. The pact for “What Remains” follows the film’s sold-out world premiere at the Austin Film Festival on Oct. 28. Gravitas came out on top in a competitive bidding situation
Lutz is best-known for his work in the “Twilight” franchise. Williams starred in the CW series “Black Lightning.” Heche’s film credits included “Six Days, Seven Nights” and “Walking and Talking.”

Anne Heche, the award-winning star of “Six Days Seven Nights” and “Walking and Talking,” died Aug. 14 at the age of 53 after being involved in a car crash in Los Angeles. Her life and career were often overshadowed by tabloid coverage of her three-year relationship with Ellen DeGeneres, a union that helped usher in a new era of gay representation in media, but one that came at the expense of Heche’s privacy.
Heche never recaptured the level of stardom she had achieved in the late 1990s, but she worked at a high level on television, film and Broadway. One of her final completed features, “What Remains,” a murder mystery that co-stars Kellan Lutz and Cress Williams, wrapped in late 2021. Its director, Nathan Scoggins, shares an emotional tribute to Heche in which he praises her talent, kindness and resilience.
Anne Heche gave me her very best, and I’m forever grateful.

NEW YORK -- Isaiah Washington is set to star in the indie drama The Least of These, playing a priest returning to the Catholic high school where he once was sexually abused.
His character replaces a missing teacher who molested several teenage boys and might have been killed by one of them.
It is the actor's first new role since derogatory comments he made about gays on the set of ABC's Grey's Anatomy and at the Golden Globes forced him into a much-publicized stint at a treatment center for psychological counseling.
Least marks the feature debut of writer-director Nathan Scoggins, a campus church founder, former Christian singer-songwriter and nondenominational Christian worship leader, who said that his wife suggested Washington for the role.
Scoggins approached the actor about a month and a half ago after reading an interview where the star said he wasn't being offered film or television roles after making his criticized remarks.
The director acknowledged that casting Washington might be seen as a risk but that the feature would take pains not to link pedophilia to homosexuality.
