Britain's Queen Elizabeth gave special permission for previously unseen photographs to be displayed in a new exhibition based on her life. Sir Cecil Beaton's pictures of the monarch - who celebrates her Diamond Jubilee this year - are the subject of a display at the Victoria and Albert museum in London and curator Susanna Brown revealed the chance to show photographs the public have never seen before was a huge coup for organisers. Speaking at a special showing of the exhibition as part of MasterCard's Priceless Night's at the V&A last night (15.03.12), Susanna said: 'Queen Elizabeth granted us permission to show some of the previously unseen photographs from Cecil Beaton's collection.
