Four years ago we brought news of an adaption of Juan De Dios Garduño’s best-selling novel "Y Pese A Todo", w hich was then called Welcome to Harmony. The film has since undergone a title change to the much more conventional "Extinction" and some assets have been found including a poster and a few images of star Mathew Fox (Lost) in a big beard.

"World War Z" promised to be some sort of ultimate zombie movie experience, and it's hard to call it that. But the first 25 minutes or so of this "Contagion"-meets-"28 Days Later" thriller will leave you breathless. And the rest of it serves up novel and often entertaining solutions to the various "zombie problems" that this overexposed genre presents.
Marc Forster ("Quantum of Solace") hurls us straight into the action. Barely five minutes into the film, ex-u.N. trouble-shooter Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), his wife (Mireille Enos) and two kids are trapped in Philadelphia traffic when all heck breaks loose. Whatever hints there have been about this "rabies" outbreak on the news cannot prepare them for the melee a tidal wave of the undead unleash.
They dash through an onslaught of zombies, streets of mayhem, stores filled with looters. Parents act like parents (To the kids: "Be Ninja quiet!") and...

Mathew Fox played the lead role of Jack in Lost for many years, and found a large fan following. His looks, height, and acting skills seem to have endeared him to many Cbm fans, and he has been brought up frequently by many fans when quite a few roles (Daredevil, Flash for example) have been discussed. But does Fox see himself in a Cbm role someday? While speaking to him about some his upcoming movies like Emperor, World War Z and Alex Cross, Collider mention how popular the genre is right now with the likes of The Avengers and Tdkr, and if he can think of any characters he may have some interest in.. Fox: Off the top of my head I can’t – you know the truth is that stuff’s going to be exhausted pretty soon, because they’ve been churning them out man. Collider: I said that a few years ago,...

Alex Cross is a reoccurring character in the novels of James Patterson. His stories have already been adapted for the screen a couple times with Morgan Freeman playing the lead role. Those films were Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider. Well now the character is looking to get a reboot with Tyler Perry as the lead. It’s old news that I, Alex Cross is being directed by xXx and The Fast and the Furious director Rob Cohen, but there is some new casting news to report. Mathew Fox has signed on in a key role as an assassin. Add to that the fact that Ed Burns is going to play Cross’ assistant Tommy Kane, and this looks like a movie that is starting to come together. But I’m not sure how I feel about it. I think a lot of people have been trained to see Tyler Perry’s name and treat it...
