In "Gotham, IL" the role of Brandon was originally cast for his best friend Tony, but after he declined the offer, Ron ended up being cast.
- He and his sister auditioned for two of MTV's reality shows, "The Real World" and "Road Rules".
- During a hypnotist show at Northern Illinois University, the hypnotist made Ron think he was J-Lo singing "I'm Real" on stage in front of a crowd of about 300 people with another guy who thought he was Ja Rule.
