Two British legends are joining forces for a BBC special this December.
Idris Elba will sit down with Paul McCartney for a BBC One and BBC Music special that will join the broadcaster’s holiday schedule. The 60-minute program, which will be recorded in London in the coming weeks, will see Elba interview McCartney about his career as one of the most successful musicians and composers in pop music history.
Produced by So Television, the show will span the former Beatle’s journey up to the present day, as he continues to produce solo material and collaborations. The artist will soon release his 26th post-Beatles album, “McCartney III,” the third album in a trilogy of classics featuring McCartney playing every instrument and writing and recording every song. Personally, I'm a big fan of tales regarding the Knights of the Round Table and their ilk, which is why when word landed in my inbox about a new film entitled Knight of the Dead, of course I had to do a little digging and share the spoils with our readers.
Knight of the Dead is directed by Mark Atkins and co-written by Atkins and Jeffrey Giles. It stars Dylan Jones, Lee Bennett, Jason Beeston, and Vivien Vilela.
Below you'll find some early artwork, a trailer, and the film's synopsis. Look for more soon.
Synopsis:
Hunted by assassins, a band of crusading knights escort the Holy Grail through a forbidden valley of black death. What they discover is far more terrifying than the plague. Overrun by hordes of flesh-eating zombies, their only chance for survival is to hack and slash their way to freedom.

✒Monkey hears that last Monday the News of the World held a training camp for top executives to teach them to be nice to their staff. Apparently James Murdoch is keen on such David Brent-like exercises, and the execs, in dress-down mode, were asked to perform simple tasks and then make encouraging comments about each other's efforts. They found the whole caper ludicrous, and a ghastly foretaste of a pallid future. It seems editor Colin Myler didn't stay for the whole course, and if so Monkey can see why – if you can't wear a suit or abuse anyone, what's the point of being a tabloid editor?
✒Reactions were swift and scornful following the bashing of other channels by Channel 4's Julian Bellamy in an Rts after-dinner speech on Wednesday. They rely too much on remakes of old shows such as Doctor Who and Minder (the terrestrials) or imports (Sky), said the normally amiable programming chief,...
