- Became member of the "Weiße Rose" (White Rose) resistance group against the Nazi regime in 1942 and participated in the production and distribution of leaflets. On 18 February 1943, she was arrested while distributing another leaflet together with her brother Hans. On 22 February 1943, they and their friend 'Christoph Probst' were condemned to death and executed.
