While we are talking about fiction, science fiction and non-fiction stories of little importance, many filmmakers are currently exploding with ideas to make films based on Nikola Tesla’s life and work. It all happens like a thunder, explosion from the heavens, with studios and independent filmmakers alike. They are actively seeking investors, crowd funding and sponsorships, partnerships with studios, while simultaneously doing the hard work of script writing, research, and casting.
It seems like the world is awakening, an angelus force is impacting our consciousness. Up to this point, history has been filtered in many ways, and most people believed the media and the government. But with such an activist-like attitude, that is going to change. As people, we are starting to think Tesla’s way, bringing awareness of using free energy, caring about the environment and looking at the future with his eyes. In this article, I will...

Christian Bale and Nicolas Cage are both reportedly being considered to star in Universal’s upcoming drama Tesla, Ruler of the World. The Dark Knight Rises actor is being considered to play the titular character – inventor, physicist and engineer, Nikola Tesla and the Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance star, meanwhile, is up for the role of Thomas Edison.
The Film Stage is reporting that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire director Mike Newell will direct and the film will be based on a script by Vladimir Rajcic. The story will focus on events from Tesla’s life, and will be linked to a current day story of technological crisis.

Right as his 156th birthday passes by, we have some Nikola Tesla-related news that’s bound to raise several eyebrows; my own are standing upright at the mere notion, as a matter of fact. Take the following story with a couple of salt grains, but Wild-Rooster (via BleedingCool) allege that Christian Bale and Nicolas Cage are lining up Universal’s Tesla, Ruler of the World, in which the former will play Tesla and the latter would be seen as Thomas Edison. And, on the directing side of things, it’s believed (though not confirmed) that Mike Newell will make it his Great Expectations follow-up.
The film’s genre has yet to be truly stipulated, but I’m almost getting something of a sci-fi vibe here. Not just because Nikola Tesla conducted some crazy experiments with electrical currents and whatnot, but also thanks to a note that Vladimir Rajcic‘s screenplay...

A few days ago we wrote about possible candidate for leading role in Angelina Jolie Bosnian film, Vladimir Rajcic.
But today we have new information regards to male main character in Jolie’s directorial debut and information comes directly from producers of the film.
Vladimir Rajcic was in talks to take over leading role in this yet untitled, love story set during the Bosnian war, but unfortunately he is forced to turn down the part.
Currently, Rajcic is very busy with his own project and that’s a movie about Nikola Tesla which he is producing with Oscar Wining Producer Branko Lustig (Schindler’s List, Gladiator).
Now the big question is who can lead and take over, because Rajcic was perfect candidat for this role.
Last Year Golden Globe contender was more than great for this part.
Serbian press saying that will be very hard to find actor which can match Rajcic in short time.

So, you already know that Angelina Jolie will shoot a movie in Serbia and the region, which will mark her directorial debut.
You also had a chance to read our reports about the cast, and that Jolie has promised to cast only actors from the region.
That cast already includes Rade Serbedzija and Zana Marjanovic, but no, we’re not here to repeat all that, but to share the latest cast rumors with you.
Jolie’s movie is actually “a love story set during the Bosnian war, and the film focuses on a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman who meet on the eve of the war and the effect the war has on their relationship.”
Zana Marjanovic will portray above mentioned Bosnian woman, and now the biggest question is who will play her Serbian partner.
So we took a little peek at the Serbian press and according to their reports,...

Mark Dacascos as a Serbian? Sure, why not, there have been stranger things in film, I suppose. Like, you know, Keanu Reeves playing a Japanese Samurai. Um. Anyways, check out a trailer for the action-thriller “Serbian Scars”, which stars Dacascos as a street fighter and Michael Madsen as a Serbian scumbag behind all the bad deeds. The film also stars Vladimir Rajcic, one of the writers on the film, and is directed by Brent Huff, an actor who has been in his share of direct-to-dvd movies. This action, thriller, drama Serbian Scars, is set in Belgrade, Chicago and Kosovo, chronicles the complicated relationship and reunion of estranged brothers, Alex and Peter and the forbidden love of a Serbian Soldier (Alex Obilich) and a young Muslim woman. Alex believing his father (Goran Obilich) to be at deaths door and in need of a bone marrow transplant, ventures from Serbia to Chicago...
