Will Arnett is an Emmy-nominated comedian and actor in the Hollywood scene, beloved and adored by fans – but what many may not know about the star is that he has struggled with sobriety for years.
Now, Arnett has opened up about his hardships in a candid interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
As it turns out, Arnett's new series Flaked (on which he serves as writer, producer and co-creator) is drawn heavily from the actor's past. In the show, he plays Chip, a 40-something man struggling with sobriety – and the first day of shooting was set to coincide with the 15th anniversary of Arnett's own sobriety.

CSI star William Petersen has landed a role in a new drama series called Hurt People. The actor - who played Gil Grissom in CSI for nine years until leaving in 2009 - will play Hollis Brown, a veteran hitman employed by the crime family responsible for his wife's death. Brown is also searching for his estranged daughter, who is out to seek revenge for her mother's murder. Petersen will also become executive producer of Hurt People alongside creators Graham Kind and Tim Headington, according to Deadline. The story is about a mother who is pushed too far when her truck-driver husband hits the road again and snaps, killing all but one of her children who plays the traditional survivor girl role this time...
