- Johnnie Clayton was an actor, known for Rentaghost (1976), Little Dorrit (1987) and The Indian Tales of Rudyard Kipling (1963). He died in 1992 in the UK.
- He was a member of the original cast of the long-running British soap opera EastEnders (1985) and appeared in the very first episode. He did not, however, ever utter a word of dialogue as his character, Reg Cox, was already dead when he appeared, the victim of a murderer which began the soap's first storyline.
