Jimmy The Exploder is an award-winning Australian writer, director and producer.
His feature film production company Antipodes (which he co-founded with New Zealand-born producer Mitchell McLennan) is based in New York City.
The Exploder wrote and co-produced the hit 2008 Australian film 'The Black Balloon', winner of 6 AACTA Awards including 'Best Film' and 'Best Screenplay'.
In 2021 he was in post-production on a Smashing Pumpkins documentary 'The Arising' and in the development of the Dallas set 'Luka Magic' which he is slated to write and direct early in 2025.
