Well, we did it. We made it to the finale of Elsbeth, and all that's left to say is when will the next season be?!
A lot was done differently in Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10, and it all made for a fantastic ending to an enjoyable season of murder hijinx.
As most viewers likely noticed from the start of the episode, the usually "howcatchem" show shifted gears to a genuine murder mystery.
It was undoubtedly a subtle misdirect to treat audiences, as the trailer promo didn't show who the killer was, and viewers were likely expecting a full rundown at the episode's start.
At least the most likely character from the episode trailer to be the killer was a mislead because Nadine was hilarious and likable.
I believe strongly in kindness and second chances. Also, in the healing power of the sun and certain textiles.
Nadine Permalink: I believe strongly in kindness and second chances.

The finale is finally upon us! It's been a good season of sleuthing for the Chicago transplant turned unofficial homicide detective.
But all things, good or bad, meaning Elsbeth's functional floral fashion, must end.
Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10 looks like a tricky one to figure out, though. The only clear thing is that a fashion photographer is murdered, possibly by way of a gunshot.
The promo left a lot to be desired in terms of clues. But as Elsbeth is a "howcatchem," all the pertinent details will be laid out within the first five minutes of the episode.
It's just not very clear who the killer might be, but if we're going by who was featured the most in the trailer and who was the most recognizable face, then it's likely Laura Benanti playing runway model Nadine.
I'm more inclined to believe she is the killer for a couple of reasons.

Cold feet usually come before the nuptials, but in Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 7, the groom is six feet under before the honeymoon phase has even started.
Kicking things off in "Something Blue" is the incomparable Keegan-Michael Key in the role of Ashton Hayes, father of the bride and wealthy financial advisor.
While the actor is known for his over-the-top characters, in this role, Key takes a more subdued approach in the form of an uptight uppity country club golfer.
Still, it can be said that his comedic charms are at the ready with the perfect delivery of lines.
This family that you're marrying into may seem well off, but we are, in fact, for lack of a better term, dirty stinking rich.

Courtroom drama is supposed to be part of the Law & Order universe's brand, but Svu doesn't always follow suit.
In recent years, Ada Carisi often debates the case's merits before the trial, but once the cops convince him to press charges, the case is moved off-screen.
Law & Order: Svu Season 25 Episode 10 was an exception, featuring one of the most sensational -- and unrealistic -- trials in the series' history.
This trial was the logical culmination of the Maddie Flynn arc, which has stretched over most of the season. The newscaster at the beginning of the hour did a great job of recapping it for viewers who had managed to miss the entire story.
It could have been a powerful indictment (no pun intended) of the shortcomings of the criminal justice system in cases like Maddie's. Unfortunately, this time around, the writers chose sensationalistic drama over realism, undermining the point they were trying to make.

Dakota Johnson is a passenger in both life and a yellow taxi cab, seeking connection with whomever is most near. For her, that turns out to be crass driver Clark, played by Sean Penn in the two-hander drama “Daddio.”
Their shared journey is from New York City’s John F. Kennedy Airport to Hell’s Kitchen, with Johnson’s character Girlie determined to get to Clark’s innermost being. He’s not into it. The indie feature written and directed by Christy Hall debuted at TIFF 2023 and will next play at Tribeca 2024.
Johnson produces alongside TeaTime Pictures partner Ro Donnelly, who told IndieWire that Girlie is emotionally “reflective” of the below-the-line team behind the feature itself.
“Because she is our generation of women who are still approaching these men in a nonjudgmental way because it’s fascinating. We’re not threatened by it,” producer Donnelly said. “And that reveals her power,...

The UK’s most successful presenting duo, Ant and Dec, signed off their Saturday evening primetime live show after 20 years, going out in style and bidding emotional farewell.
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, who have been working as a pair since teaming up on childrens TV drama Byker Grove in in the early 1990s, had previously announced this series of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, the 20th, would be the last.
Saturday evening’s show saw a long list of guests including Simon Cowell and pop stars Girls Aloud join Ant and Dec for a final, live singalong of Kool and the Gang’s ‘Celebration’ that took in both interior and exterior settings at London’s Television Centre. A huge amount of technical preparation and choreography had clearly gone into the production, which finished with Ant and Dec back on stage, thanking everyone before finally putting their arms...

Universal Television’s top comedy development executives said business is thriving with EVP Jim Donnelly calling the moment “oddly busy.”
“The world is crazy right now and people love the comfort of comedy. And post-strike, everybody really wants to work … We have five new series in development that we’re excited about. We have a pilot for NBC,” he told a panel at SXSW, where NBCU’s Hacks will premiere Episode 3 here tomorrow ahead of its debut on Max in May.
“I feel like we need comedy more than ever.”
He was joined by colleagues Megan Macmillan and Beth Miyares, both SVPs for Comedy Development. The team is behind successful and anticipated television comedies Never Have I Ever, Girls5eva, Harlem, Bupkis, A Clasic Spy, St. Denis Medical and The Four Seasons.
Of course challenges there are. The explosion of streamers changed some of television’s fundamentals and that’s been...
