Zsa Zsa Gabor sold her Bel-Air home long before she died, but her husband and conservator Frederic Prinz Von Anhalt isn't ready to move out, and now will have to pay rent to stay. Zsa Zsa sold the estate for $11 million in 2013. Under the agreement, she was allowed to stay there until she died, at which point the home would be turned over to the new owner within 4 months. With a spasm of east coast neurosis, Woody Allen gets the event underway – and it isn't long before things get raucous
Woody Allen waits anxiously to introduce To Rome with Love at the Regal theatre in downtown La; there are echoes of the young, nervous standup who performed against his will at the start of his career. But this is the opening night of the Los Angeles film festival, as well as the movie's North American premiere, so within nanoseconds of Allen striding up to the mic the crowd are on their feet.
"I was blessed with a great cast. A cast I'm counting on to make me look good," he stutters, endearingly, before introducing Penélope Cruz, Alison Pill, Greta Gerwig, Simona Caparrini and Alessandra Mastronardi. "If you like the picture, I'm thrilled. If you hate it and think it was a waste of time coming, don't let me know...

She swam naked in its pool every morning and entertained Hollywood royalty there. Now the ailing movie star's house is up for sale – exacerbating a bitter family feud
Zsa Zsa Gabor is selling her gated Bel Air mansion, and as you would expect from a Hollywood legend, this is no ordinary listing. The former movie star may be ailing but the anticipated $15m (£9.4m) sale has intensified a long-running family feud and turned into something of a drama.
The decision to sell the property was made after 94-year-old Gabor was re-admitted to hospital in May, following a bout of pneumonia. She returned home this month but the Hungarian-born socialite, actor and star of the chatshow circuit is now barely able to speak and bed-ridden after having her leg amputated earlier this year.

Gabor. Photograph by Ron Galella. Zsa Zsa Gabor: the next victim of Hollywood’s death-by-threes curse? Normally it’s not like a volunteer thing, but “celebrities go in threes, and I’m next,” the 94-year-old actress told her husband, Prince Frédéric von Anhalt, on Wednesday. At the time, Gabor had just learned of Elizabeth Taylor’s death—news that sent her blood pressure “through the roof,” causing her to be immediately hospitalized. (Beset by several medical conditions, Gabor had her right leg amputated in January; she was released from her last hospital stint just three weeks ago.) As for the third person in her calculation, the Daily News speculates it’s the late Jane Russell, who died on February 28—but it could theoretically be Knut, world-famous celebrity polar bear. Some more bad news for Zsa Zsa Gabor: After a New Year's celebration filled with champagne and caviar, the veteran diva returned to the hospital on Sunday to have the lower part of her right leg amputated. The 93-year-old was rushed by ambulance to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center after doctors ordered the surgery. "She wanted to stay home and have a holiday. They wanted to do this before the holiday, but now the doctors have forced us," the actress's husband, Prince Frédéric von Anhalt, told People. What exactly went so wrong? Gabor, who has been in poor health since suffering complications from hip surgery over the summer, had recently developed a lesion on her swollen...

Looks like we can blame Alex Trebek in part for Zsa Zsa Gabor's hospitalization this weekend. While watching a certain game show in her Bel-Air home Saturday evening, the 93-year-old actress fell out of bed while trying to answer a phone call. "She was watching her favorite show, Jeopardy!, when the phone rang," said Gabor publicist John Blanchette. "She reached over to pick it up and fell." Gabor was rushed to UCLA Medical Center and listed in serious condition. The Hungarian-born star's hubby, Prince Frédéric von Anhalt, said Gabor broke her hip in the fall and will need hip-replacement surgery. The famed socialite, already partially...

Veteran actress Zsa Zsa Gabor's operation to relieve a leg infection was "a success" according to her husband Frederic Von Anhalt. The 90-year-old underwent surgery at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Von Anhalt says, "The operation was successful, she's in recovery and in a couple of days she'll be OK." Gabor, who was partially paralyzed after a 2002 car crash, has been relying on the use of a wheelchair and walking aid in recent years to get around - and her current illness is a direct result of her immobility.

Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband Prince Frederic Von Anhalt has spoken out about the "horror" of being robbed and stripped at gunpoint - as he sat in the front seat of his Rolls Royce in swanky Bel Air. Los Angeles police are investigating claims the Hungarian royal was tricked into letting three female 'tourists', who requested a group photograph with him, into his car. He alleges one of the women held a gun to his head and he was forced to hand over a platinum and diamond watch, $1,800 in cash and his car keys before the robbers told Von Anhalt to strip. He claims the trio then strapped him to his steering wheel and took off. Von Anhalt called the police and a producer at entertainment news TV show Entertainment Tonight - to report his humiliating misfortune. He says, "I was in horror. You don't know if you're going to get out of it alive... I'm not gonna sleep the next couple of nights, that's for sure." The Prince, who claimed he was the biological father of Anna Nicole Smith's child Dannielynn earlier this year, admits he didn't call his ailing wife to tell her of the robbery at gunpoint because that would have been cruel. Von Anhalt, who has been married to Gabor for 21 years, adds, "To call a sick woman in a situation like that... I didn't call my wife."...

The 11 prescription medications found in tragic model Anna Nicole Smith's Florida hotel room the day of her death were prescribed by one doctor. Documents released by Broward County's medical examiner Dr. Joshua Perper said psychiatrist Dr. Khristine Eroshevich had authorized all the drugs found in Smith's suite at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida following her death on February 8. Over 600 pills, including 450 muscle relaxants, were missing from prescriptions written in the previous five weeks leading up to the 39-year-old's accidental drug overdose. Dr. Perper said two other doctors had prescribed medication for the former Playboy Playmate, but they were not in her hotel suite. Records show 62 Valium tablets were missing from a two-week-old prescription and two-thirds of a bottle of sleeping medication chloral hydrate, prescribed on January 2, had gone. Most of the drugs in Smith's room were prescribed under the name of her longtime companion, lawyer Howard K. Stern. An autopsy report released last week concluded Smith's death had been an accident and ruled out any foul play. Nine different medications were found in Smith's body. Stern is currently battling photographer Larry Birkhead and Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband Prince Frederic Von Anhalt over the paternity of Smith's seven-month-old daughter Dannielynn.

Tragic model Anna Nicole Smith died of an accidental drug overdose, according to Florida police. The 39-year-old was found dead in her suite at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on February 8 - five months after the death of her 20-year-old son Daniel in the Bahamas. Seminole Tribe Police Chief Charlie Tiger and Broward County, Florida Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua Perper announced results of the model's autopsy in Dania, Florida at 10am local time yesterday morning. Tiger said there was nothing to indicate foul play in her death and the case was now closed. Perper said there was "no evidence of disease" in Smith's body, but she had been feeling ill and had a high temperature prior to her collapse. He added he had searched numerous medical records and studied numerous bottles of medication in her possession, including Methadone, anti-anxiety and anti-depression medication. An autopsy showed Smith had overdosed on sleeping medication chloralhydrate and a minimum of eight prescription drugs, including Valium. An investigation into Daniel's death is scheduled to begin in the Bahamas today. Meanwhile, Smith's partner Howard K. Stern, ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead and Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband Prince Frederic Von Anhalt are submitting DNA tests to determine which man is the father of the model's six-month-old baby Dannielynn.

Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband Prince Frederic Von Anhalt has filed a lawsuit against TV news host Bill O'Reilly after the anchorman made disparaging comments against him on air. The Hungarian royal, who hit the headlines last month when he claimed to be the possible father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby daughter, was appalled when O'Reilly attacked him on his O'Reilly Factor show. In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, and obtained by Tmz.com yesterday, Von Anhalt says O'Reilly called him a "fraud," among other things, during a February 23 broadcast. The prince insists O'Reilly "knew that the statements were false," and used them to "directly injure his reputation in a substantial portion of his community." The royal is demanding $10 million in damages.

The mystery surrounding the paternity of Anna Nicole Smith's baby daughter Dannielynn is still far from resolution, despite frenzied legal activity yesterday. In a Los Angeles courtroom Howard K. Stern's lawyers argued with attorneys for Smith's ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead over the five-month-old in a closed hearing. Stern's lawyer, James Neavitt, said Superior Court Judge Robert A. Schnider declined to relinquish control over the paternity suit, insisting there were still questions pending as to which state has jurisdiction over the baby's case. Birkhead's attorney, Debra Opri, reportedly asked the judge to take emergency jurisdiction and have the baby brought to California. According to Neavitt, the judge denied the request. In another development, Frederic Von Anhalt, the husband of actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, filed a separate paternity challenge, claiming he is the father of the baby. Smith died at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on February 8 at the age of 39. The cause of her death is still under investigation.

Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband Prince Frederic Von Anhalt is officially adding his name to the paternity battle over late Anna Nicole Smith's baby daughter Dannielynn. The European royal came forward with claims he might be the biological father of the five month old last Friday - 24 hours after his one-time mistress died in Florida. Von Anhalt stated he'd challenge any agreement that gave feuding 'fathers' Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead custody of Dannielynn, but now it seems he isn't waiting for a court-ordered Dna test on February 20, which will decide who is the tot's biological dad. The Prince told reporters yesterday he plans to file a paternity challenge to gain custody of the baby - even if it costs him his 20-year marriage to actress and socialite Gabor, who is said to be devastated by her husband's claims. And he'll even fly to The Bahamas, where the child was born and is currently being looked after by Anna Nicole's friends, to claim the baby. Von Anhalt says, "If the court rules in my favor, I will go to The Bahamas and pick up the child. My wife says, `If you bring a baby home then it's over.' If my wife wants to divorce me then it's up to her."...

Former screen siren Zsa Zsa Gabor has made a miraculous recovery from the stroke she suffered last month and is slowly starting to walk again. The 88-year-old actress had been hospitalized since a car crash in Los Angeles in 2002 - but has begun walking with a cane just weeks after undergoing surgery to clear a blocked artery. She says, "I feel wonderful. I'm doing the best I can. I'm doing lots of exercises and I'm sure it won't take me long to get back to normal. I had the operation just weeks ago and I'm already feeling much better." Her husband, Prince Frederick Von Anhalt, 62, tells of when he first noticed Gabor was ill: "I took my wife to the hospital after her hand started shaking. Doctors said the artery was completely closed and she would have suffered a major stroke and died unless they operated immediately. It was a near-death experience. The operation was very dangerous but a complete success. Zsa Zsa's been getting out of the wheelchair and walking around the house and grounds with the use of a cane. She's feeling better than she has in years."...
