Hy Terman(1925-2008)

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Hy Terman grew up during the Great Depression
with a love of theatre. After high school, Terman was drafted into the
United States Army during World War II, and was severely wounded in an
air raid in Italy. Despite having been a wounded veteran, Terman went
on to continue his acting career, studying theatre at the University of
Miami under the GI Bill. Following several successful theatrical
performances in Ohio, Terman moved to Studio City, California in order
to become a film actor. He appeared in several undertakings such as
"The Ten Commandments", "The Joey Bishop Show", and "Bonanza".
Remaining a minor actor, Terman went on to become a successful Realtor,
establishing the company 'Terman Realty' in the Los Angeles area.
Terman continued acting in small parts, commercials, and even a video
game throughout his career, and was an active member of the Screen
Actors' Guild.
