This one got us. During a memorial for Dmx on Saturday, one of the late rapper’s young children took the stage and performed a song of her own that we’re pretty sure would’ve made her father proud.
Even better… she apparently wrote it herself. “I’m growing, I’m learning to hold my head, my daddy’s still holding my hand so I gotta stand up,” she rapped confidently. See some of it below (which appears to mimic Dmx’s “Slippin'”):

In the world of celebrity spouse reality shows, it doesn't get any uglier than TLC's new offering.
"Starter Wives Confidential," premiering Tuesday, Jan. 29, looks at seven women who stood by their men through thick and thin -- until success, fame, infidelity or violence ended their relationships. Unfortunately, the only thing that stinks worse than the show's dirty laundry may be the show itself.
The ringleader is TV personality and media entrepreneur Monica Joseph-Taylor, estranged spouse of hip-hop DJ Funkmaster Flex. She organizes a cadre of women in similar situations to appear on the show: Zakia Baum, ex-girlfriend of rapper Maino; Cheryl Caruso, ex-wife of convicted mobster Phil Caruso; Josie Harris, ex-girlfriend of boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.; Liza Morales, ex-girlfriend of NBA player Lamar Odom, who's currently married to Khloe Kardashian; Tashera Simmons, ex of rapper Dmx; and Shaniqua Tompkins, ex-girlfriend of rapper 50 Cent.

On Monday (July 30), teen bride/Internet personage Courtney Stodden told her Twitter followers she was heading out to shoot a reality show. We now know just which show.
Brace yourselves, now: It appears Courtney and her thrice-her-age husband, actor Doug Hutchison, may have hit a rough patch in their 15-month marriage, because according to TMZ, the show she and Hutchison are doing is VH1's "Couples Therapy."
We know: shocking.
A source tells TMZ Hutchison and Stodden are doing the show to work on "obvious problems in their relationship because of their age difference and the notoriety they've gotten because of their relationship."
"Couples Therapy" has previously featured the likes of "Bachelor" franchise alumni Vienna Girardi and Kasey Kahl and rapper Dmx and his wife, Tashera Simmons. There's no word from VH1 on when the next season of the show will air.

Dmx had a breakthrough on "Couples Therapy" (Wed., 10 p.m. Et on VH1) as he talked to therapist Dr. Jenn Berman about his relationship with his estranged mother.
The rapper said that he'd previously turned to drugs to relieve stress but now that he's stopped using he'll call wife Tashera Simmons instead.
Why? "I just wanted to say ... " he began, "I just wanted to say, 'Mommy.'"
He added that his mom "never told me that she loved me," before breaking down completely.
Later on, as Tashera pointed out that lots of people have been in the same predicament, Dmx toughed it out. "So what? She didn't say she loved me, so what? ... I'm here, I'm healthy, I got kids, I got a good career."

"Couples Therapy" (Wed., 9 p.m. Et on VH1) got off to a tumultuous start, and there were no signs of things slowing down on Wednesday night's episode.
Rapper Dmx started flipping out on Dr. Jenn Berman when the house rules made him feel like he was back in jail.
"They've got us on some lock-down sh*t in the house," he said. As he started packing his bags the Murder Inc. star told Dr. Jenn "I didn't sign up for this sh*t."
His estranged wife Tashera Simmons looked on in silence as Dmx waved a copy of the Bible at the counselor and said, "we don't need help. The only help we need is right here."
When Dr. Jenn tried to get Dmx to talk through his issues in dealing with uncomfortable situations he admitted that his usual tactic is to walk away from people he doesn't want to deal with.

"Couples Therapy" (Wed., 9 p.m. Et on VH1) got off to a tumultuous start with Dmx losing it totally over some of the issues within his marriage to Tashera Simmons. She brought up issues of respect and infidelity, but Dmx countered by saying that he's the same as he's always been, and he's not ever going to change. Most importantly, he was up front about all of this with her.
In no uncertain terms, and in fact willed with several very certain profanities, Dmx ranted that he'll never stop sleeping with women. "And that's what it is. I'm grown!" he shouted. "I make my own f*****g bed, and I'm gonna lie in it!"
"What you just said was disrespectful and no regards to my feelings," Tashera countered, but Dmx said that it was respectful because it was honest. What's more important in a relationship? If he was upfront about...

Dmx's wife left the rapper after she discovered he had fathered four children outside of their 11-year marriage. The hip-hop star, real name Earl Simmons, wed Tashera Simmons in 1999 and she confirmed reports of their separation in July, just two weeks after Dmx was freed from prison for a violation probation.
Tashera had stood by her husband throughout his legal troubles, which included arrests for drug possession, even after a female from Maryland claimed the troubled star was the father of her son. But she reveals the decision to call time on their relationship for good came after other women came forward with similar claims following his 2006 reality show "Dmx: Soul of a Man" and she only recently discovered he had been paying them child support behind her back.

Good news: He was released early from jail. Dr Drew had vouched for him! Worse news: His wife, Tashera Simmons wants out of their marriage. Even Worse news: Dmx is back in jail. In terms of the scales, he’s tipped way up crap-creek. And in a funny way, he’s coming full circle slammer-style. Look at his pattern: He was sentenced to jail earlier this year in March because he violated probation. And he was in the clink for verbally threatening a guard during his jail sentence last year while he was in for drug possession, animal cruelty and theft. A 2002 reckless driving sentence was the original criminal culprit. Dmx was smart...

After leaving an Arizona jail back in May on fraud, drug and animal-cruelty charges, rapper Dmx has headed back to jail. According to an attorney for Dmx, real name Earl Simmons, the star turned himself in at the Los Angeles Metropolitan Courthouse on Monday afternoon, July 26 at about 2:30 P.M., MTV News reported.
The attorney revealed that Dmx surrendered to authorities to begin serving a 90-day prison sentence stemming from a 2002 reckless driving charge. Dmx's lawyer Aja Southern told the site that the "What's My Name" singer was arrested for DUI that year but reached a plea deal for a lesser charge of reckless driving.
Southern suggested that a series of events, including Dmx's prison stint in the Arizona jail on an unrelated charge, had caused him to postpone the Los Angeles sentence. However, TMZ reported that Dmx has to return staying behind bars after violating his...
